What would this "decent RNS" say exactly? Today would have been a chance to be positive if there was something positive to say but we heard nothing new, which leads me to conclude that there isn't anything exciting to put in an RNS

Is the rise someone guessing that with COP 26 approaching the Indian Govt might want to make a big announcement? If it is then we won't have long to wait. Otherwise it's hard to see any reason for either up or down movements at present.

A sustained rise over two or three days, something that doesn't happen here very often, ought to indicate that something is afoot. If we are still heading north on Wednesday then I'll start to get excited, a rare emotion for me.

I'm not a mining expert either, but I can read. I put this 'skill' to use before buying any Rambler shares when I went through various websites and chat boards, including this one. To defend yourself against criticism for not knowing what Nugget Pond is by saying you are not an expert leaves me not knowing whether to laugh or cry. Aubrey: There is never acknowledgement of the positives from Monkey because it doesn't suit his narrative. Most seasoned investors and those with a wit of intelligence are able to see and argue both sides of the current situation, as you have just done, but Monkey flatly refuses to engage in anything that is remotely positive. He may of course be clinically depressed in which case I wish him a speedy recovery. Otherwise the only way in which he could be viewed as balanced is that he has a chip on both shoulders.

A rye smile crossed my lips reading the assay results. A certain comment by a recently green boxed individual about not hitting high copper grades consistently ran through my mind. Might have to un-filter just for the amusement of reading what he has to say now. "Short term-down"........another of last week's greatest hits. Of course there will be profit taking but not even Alistair Campbell could spin this as bad news.

At no point have I said that I don't believe that this share will go higher. I am just sick to the gills of the "news coming soon" brigade who have been constantly telling me that big news is a few days away since I bought in March. When you say "We believe news is very close", you are simply repeating what you have said many times before. So, I'll ask (again) what is 'very close'? A day, a week...or are you just guessing? If you say the same thing every day eventually you will be right but it gets very boring reading 'pin the tail on the donkey' posts.

It's not about blame, it's about how much faith to put into promises about timescales. If you know that things can slip then don't keep pinning your colours to the mast. Three months "or so". The "or so" is the problem with that sentence.

I will be as happy as you if or when big news drops but I wouldn't put too much store by what company executives say. Joe promised big news in the first half of the year and then changed that to "in the coming months". October already and still very quiet.

Maqsood: I trust that your investing strategy isn't based solely on "some rumours". If as you say "buys are flooded" I would have expected at least a modest tick up in the share price but alas nothing. I'd stop trusting Fleetwood Mac if I were you.....

Agreed Eatstocks, but today's RNS covered the aforementioned finance so that is what is being discussed. Q3 was positive with every reason to think that Q4 will continue that good progress not least as the last two weeks of Sept were exceptional.
