I was surprised to see the vehemence with which my post about .4 at year end was greeted by Oilman, given that two weeks ago I asked where he thought the SP would be at the end of June only to receive no reply. I assume that he had no interest in these things. Anyway, I'll ask again (and not just Oilman) where will the SP be on June 30th? .3 would be a decent step to year end .4.....

Where in my post did I say I had made any calculations? I simply pointed out that I would be happy with double the share price that we have today; hardly an outrageous investing strategy. I won't be selling at this level as I would be making a loss. As for potential, I have been hearing about this since I bought the shares more than a year ago. I would like to see the cheque in my bank account, not in the post. It always amuses me that those who continually say that something big is about to happen but doesn't want to ridicule those of us who express doubts that big news is coming because we have heard it all before. As I said at the weekend, if you are right that this is the big week I will be the first to congratulate you. If it isn't, will you come on here and say you got it wrong?

Aren't you always?! I find if I don't expect too much I'm rarely disappointed. If we are close to .4 by year end I'll be ecstatic. Don't get me wrong, I'd love to see 2/3/4p but unless there's a string of good news rather than unfulfilled promises of such my new car will be staying at the dealers.

Indeed. If you keep saying "next week" you'll get there eventually.

People will judge this on its past until there is a 'present' to judge it on. Promises of the future have been made and reneged upon too many times. I'll be the first to jump for joy at positive news and a re-rating of the share price but at my age I can't be exerting myself without good reason!

When you say that investors have been told to expect news next week, I assume that you mean something substantive and positive, not a steady as she goes jam tomorrow update as most seem to be from Oilex. If it's the former then the market hasn't caught up with this yet. I see that you are adding shares which is great if you have the cash.

I am in camp 3. No major issues just foot dragging that will carry on beyond Easter. News late April.

You're supposed to wait until Friday before starting that nonsense Sausage. How many Mondays have been and gone without news and why will next Monday be any different?

Oilman: While in principle I agree with you about griping, some on here bought at multiples of today's price and have every reason to be brassed off. It's much easier to forget the past if you weren't a part of it and have recently bought in at these levels. I am grateful to have 'only' bought at an average of .34 but am able to empathise with those who need to see a ten bagger just to break even.

The problem here is that the clear impression was given that all hurdles had been cleared when this was not the case. Acronyms are very frustrating with this share. If it isn't GoI it's GPCB. I see no reason why next week will be any different from last. Eventually something will happen but saying every week that the next one is the big one seems pointless. No doubt when news breaks some will say "I told you so", conveniently forgetting all the other times they did likewise and nothing happened.

Surely if the refracking is to take place in Q1 they would need to already have the equipment in their hands, not simply to have ordered it. Did I misunderstand your post?

I have come across some unsavoury characters on these boards but none more so than the above named. He is clearly de-invested in McColls because he wants them to go bust. Why? So he can say "I told you so" to other posters on the ADVFN board. 16,000 jobs at risk? Not interested clearly. Sorry to sound precious, but I am appalled that someone could be so self oriented, especially with everything going on at present, that this is what gets them going.

There are a few things that keep cropping up here; gold assays, Little Deer, ore sorter. I am not interested in any of those in 2022. I want to see four quarterly production reports that show 1350 tpd at somewhere between 1.8 and 2% with a recovery rate of 95+% and a price over $10,000. Do all that repeatedly for the rest of the year and money will flow in and the SP will be 80-100p. When that has been done (free from self inflicted **** ups or dilutions) then look at what might come next. I hope the mine plan for this year is very simple; leave ambitious projects until Ming is sorted and mill is at capacity.

Refrac is due in q1. Today is 23 days from end of that period. Then there is a period for results to be announced. Not expecting anything this side of Easter.
