I've made my case now Jim - my mission is complete - any newbies at least have the information to make a decision to take it or leave it (your commentary)

As far as promoting Oil Man Jim - I dont think so - you dont have a great reputation here Jim. Many of the LTH's still remember the lies you posted about i3e's Management.

And for any new posters - this is what Oilman Jim wrote on twitter in Aug 2020 :

"I was interested in #I3E when it was a promising North Sea developer/explorer. After management's dishonesty became clear, I changed my position. I have little faith in the success of their marginal Canadian acquisition. So many other better propositions; why bother with #I3E."

So a spectacular misread and anyone unfortunate enough to have paid any attention to you would have missed out on a 5x bagger and 9% dividends.

My whole argument is not based on subscribers v followers - its based on the mutiple ramps you have made on various BB's pumping Jim's blogs letters and books.

It does look like I have mixed up subscribers v followers - so lets go with the wording you now agree with :

"...Substack says he has thousands of subscribers..." - my original statement was this appears to be incorrect as "Oilman Jims" letter does not appear in the top 25 blogs on substack ...and once you get past #17 on the list the subscribers is below 1000. So this is clearly an incorrect statement - so why are you pushing it. I also asked you to back this up as a "thousands of paid subscribers cannot be wrong". You did not back it up and in fact appeared to accuse me of twisting facts..

So i'm still firmly of the opinion Louis10 = Oilman Jim. Whats my problem with Jim - I like to stick to facts and call out those that do not. I also think Jims Blog has no original insight (copy and paste of RNS's and other informatiom that investors can glean for themselves) and as such does not represent value for investors - at £95 per month - its pretty much the most expensive newletter out there by far. If you look at the to 25 finance blogs / news letters on substack that actually have 1000's of confirmed paid subscribers - the cost is in the $20 - $30 per month range.

Ok - i'll humour you - what is your connection to Jim and why are you promotting his blogs, books and letters - on multiple BB.

And how do you know how many followers he has on Substack ??? This information according to my research is only available to the content provider.

I think I might have ****ed off the guys on the EOG.L board with my investigative Journalism on Oilman Jim. There'a a poster called Louis10 who's been posting on a number of boards including EOG.L promoting Oilman Jims blogs/books/letter. I'm 90% sure that Louis10 is in fact Oilman Jim - even some of the insults are in the style of Jim who anyone that might have had a run in with him on Twitter would probably recognize. Anyway here is a summary of what I posted. His last post is particularly revealing:

The last post is interesting because as most will know - I'm a stickler for facts. I went onto the Substack website to see how many "subscribers" Jim actually has and as per the link I provided he's not listed in the top 25 news letter - so we're not talking 1000's - were talking hundreds or less. After being accussed of twisting things I went back to see what "Louis10" was talking about because he did not clarify. What I believe he was refering to is that he stated "Followers" and not "Subscribers".

So I went back to see how may followers Jim had on Substack and could not find any information - however, this is what Quora had to say:

“How can you tell how many followers someone has on Substack? You can’t. Only the person behind the Substack can see the actual numbers.”

So how does Louis10 know how may followers Jim has ?? and why all the pumping of the blogs and books ?

Do the decent thing Jim and post under your own name !

Your right to a certain extent except that Toscana was bought at 10 cents on the $ - it included 70+ Sections of Clear water acreage which has been described by numerous commetators as the best and most economic acrage in Northe America. Jim has described himself as an industry insider with 40+ years experience both in the North Sea and North America. Its quite clear that he had no idea what he was talking about to make such as sweeping statment as "Marginal Canadian Aquisitions"

"... After management's dishonesty became clear..." - this is also quite a statement that should not be made on a public forum without justification/back-up..

I challenged Jim on this - if a Company I'm invested in is acting unethically - I want to know about it. I pushed him numerous time to provide a reference / back-up for his statement - he was not able to do it. The only thing that is clear is the space between his ears !!!

Jim masqurading @louis10 on Europa Oil and Gas and a couple of other stocks he is pushing promoting his private blog and book.

A reminder what he said on twitter in August 2020 on i3e:

This is newsworthy and of interest to EOG.L investors and indeed any investore that "OIlman Jim" mightcover if he does in fact have such a hefty paid subscription following.

So FACTS FIRST - this is what I pulled up on Substack.com:

A listing of the top Finance Subscriptions - Unfortunately it only lists the top 25 and once you get to # 17 - subscriptions are listed as in the hundreds. Jim is not listed in the top 25. Do you have a link to verify that he does in fact have thousands of paid subscriptions ?

Even though I dont rate his commentary at all - 1000's of paid subscribers cannot be all wrong and i'll be prepared to eat a bit of humble pie and be more deferrential in my comments !

Happy New Year to you also - lets hope EOG come right in the New Year - needs another catalyst to move the SP forward imo - either Serenity or Inishea or God Willing some permits to develop UK onshore.

maybe Jim - but promoting your own book and blog under a false name is not only pathetic, but embarrassing. If you had any shame you would just toddle off and stop trying to decieve people.

and anyone following Jim will recall him talking i3e down as well as the Integrity of Management as the SP rose from 5p all the way up to over 30p and currently 24p - so not only wasting your money on a worthless subscription letter but probably talked some out of a 5x bagger currently paying a nealy 10% dividend yield - good call Jim.

Anyway - this is about Jim and EOG not i3e. EOG is cheap - just needs a catalyst to get the SP moving - Inishea is potentially big but will it happen and when. Serenity - there might be something there but who knows and onshore UK - what a frustrating place to drill and operate Oil & Gas Wells - will we hit the next ice age before they get more permits to drill and run a gas line.

Always worth DYOR and taking anything from Guru's like Jim with a huge pinch of salt. Anyway GLA - i'm a SH here to looking to make a profit and not sell you a subscription.
