It would now be appropriate for JC to clarify this situation and I think he probably will. After all apart from Connodes other achievements in their home country Cyan bought Connode at the time of the TATA deal, and Connode with Reliance being the opposition. So it would be good to hear that the acquisition panned out in our favour in India.

It would be interesting to know more about this installation. From memory our involvement in Mumbai was
TATA/CYAN and RELIANCE/CONNODE. We then took over Connode so had a foot in both camps. Not much was said about Mumbai from then on. I mentioned about the island development nearby, who have never previously had electricity, but I didn't know if we had any involvement.

I think we have gone on holiday even before the Market.

jake, from the beginning this was a new venture, steering away from semi conductors and entering a completely new area. As CC has met the challenge the Governments have moved the goalposts.
Others appear to have had problems with manufacturing, CC has produced a cost effective simple system that works, unfortunately the money men want a complicated one with loads of costs, that do not seem to be that good.
Apart from a problem with 3 phase (don't know the origins) Mysore was a great success entrusted to CC which even the Indian Government showcased. As GCHQ approves CC's smart comms I see good earnings, SMETS2 will has a long to go and Government is getting frustrated, I know of many older high-rise that would benefit from the advanced Omni with possibly Fire Alarms thrown. There is a lot of scope.

Hi ITT.. Just caught up. I'm sure JC moved nearer to Cambridge, must own two. On ESI my take is David decided not to take up share offer, which is logical considering drop then attended AGM, decided to get involved to protect his investment, taking a NO salary BOD and carried on with purchase hence delay. In the smart business everything appears to subject to delay by Governments and Meter Manufacturers. Unless I am wrong CC, at the right price, seems to be the only bit that works. Do not give up on CC. I eagerly await an update from JC, in detail, regarding SMETS2 and where we stand. I think JC can run the whole show for these manufacturers and UK Government, somebody has to.

ITT, didn't JC move to Cambridge. I think JC was letting the company tick along waiting for the big one which goes to and fro, never quite completing. This year is gaining momentum so keep your eye Y/E Dec. JC has been put under pressure from AGM and these changes are necessary for continuity and to stop dissent.

Woolley, lets face it CC is stuck in this void, through no fault of their own, it's the industry, the nature of the product (which is good in the case of CC) but possibly not the remaining companies components. If CC had joined up with Connode a couple of years before (Connode was not on offer then) I feel the outcome would have been much more advanced. Even big telecoms hit rough patches but have more cash, CC will come good by end of year.

Jmitc1,thanks for that. I have been through this several times. It is not to do with value of company but pure sentiment. If someone is going bust it will be obvious but apart from that it is the feel of the market. Some years back VW went through the roof due to market shortage, no change in their circumstances financially but Funds had to balance their books. So it all boils down to what the traders can shift and demand. So CC needs to up its game PR wise and become a desirable stock, all doable. Still see good times for CC with SMETS2. Over to you ITT.
