Hello Colour. You and your bouncy friend, bit slow there Bamby, do not see the whole picture at all. I would not consider £7-£10m a fortune considering the cash that has been spent over last couple of years. You certainly do not know what is going on in UK but all will be revealed hopefully in next 6 months. I feel we will get a foot hold in India now that Genus has shown interest, don't forget we are inside their meters and we were only looking at a % of India anyway. O yea of little faith.
When UK starts to show returns in a few months the SP will settle. I would urge JC, if he has any influence, to try to put in the advanced (IoT) Omni in SMETS2 as that could encourage the Government to include CC active in all meters. My background info is that there is still all to play for with SMETS2,they are still debating it and have gone back to SMETS1 manufacturers, after cancelling line, and asked them to continue to make them so still a possibility we could get the lot with our RF system which by all accounts is virtually 100% reliable, low cost, secure, quick to install, and on and on. I am sure that Government is aware of JC/CC, not just a contractor. The £11bn. budget is bound to be well exceeded but if it can be reigned in to just a couple of billion more it would not break the bank.

Hello Colour.. You still here, amazing. No, I am still expecting these results but it would not hurt to show CC is moving in the right direction on a monthly basis. We all want SP to rise (may be not you) and we need to fill the information void. I still see good prospects for CC but time is against us and results are needed, although small, to be seen.
Watching Bloomberg earlier I noted that one digital company was trading at 100 x future earnings, so much for saying sentiment does not count. CC has a good product whether you can talk it into the ground remains to be seen.

Morning All. After the AGM and a pull your socks approach I think JC now needs to publish lease returns from the various contracts including Connode. We are now clear of R&D until a further development need. We are looking at an administration cost of approximately £0.5m per month. As it is JC's goal to get at least 50% leasing per contract then the early ones must be producing an income that appears on the books. Now Heather has become head book-keeper lets hope more detailed figures will appear. Not expecting a fortune but we need to see that the masterplan is working and building gradually. A monthly return to coincide with costs would be appreciated and shareholders would see the bridge that JC is building is well underway.

A little bit of ignorance with me here LTI. What is the difference between a 3 phase meter and a 3 phase (CT) meter.

LTI, would you happen to know what the problem is with 3 phase meters. Was it meter or CC software. I am asking because if CC was in order then we should be able to push on although its a pity that the project got this hiccup.

Hello Vas, there are a few on here with similar backgrounds. I am probably older than many and been into shares since the 70's. I have made a few bloomers along the way with shares but generally have done alright.
I seldom stray onto AIM but I picked up on Cyan some years back as a bit of a unique item. It had the right CEO (oh yes) and bag-man SS with the right desire, that is why I have given so much leeway as in my opinion in this case it is not the product but a string of hard luck situations because of a new arena and Governments. This next 6 -18 months I see as the turning point (good) unless some other obstacle or product comes along. Time is not on the side of the inventor when software is involved. Bottomline is our staple diet, UK Contract, is about to pay off and by the time SMETS2 gets finalised CC might just have a lot more involvement.

Hello Vas, it would interesting if they are tying in with CC, or already have, considering we have an Indian Company and possibly the white label situation and of course L+T new owner being German. Too much speculation.

Bamby, my 4 legged friend you almost have to scramble to catch up to your mates. Having learnt by Carillion the various depts are keen to be on top of this one, but who knows once again. In UK we are talking a total 50m meters which on the spread of the budget is costing too much in preliminaries. Colour may know a bit about electrics probably from his village people but business in UK is what you know + who you know. The times are now (slowly) changing away from First Division CS rubber stamps.

woolley, thanks for that bit of honesty. If I thought JC was using us for his retirement fund I would have been long gone. I have done quite a bit of research, probably too much, and am satisfied that CC's product is good and that we are all in the lap of the Gods. Note Iran, very good order if it progressed in a straight line, worth possibly £200m, not too impressed with initial reason (traffic cameras), but stops as US gets involved and nobody is certain if EU can face-off our big buddies. I go for 'strong buy' on a weak spot because on AIM that's when it all happens, or not. Talking to a Director last year they do select cheap flights where possible. There must be a hole in your bucket. You can't see any good. The fact is we were nowhere near this stage of return 3 years ago. With the UK Contract alone JC could get sufficient loans, if needed, and if for supply purposes then its justified.
