We may not have gotten our full share of rollout from last year to 31st March but now Utilities are required to fit in the rotation that customers requests come in things should speed up. Either way if a 'notspot' exists it will have to be dealt with promptly in future and all previously outstanding ones cleared. At the end of the day it remains to be seen how many 'notspots' there are. If it is 10% of 54m meters then that is 5.4m meters; that would be a result for CC especially as it is UK. Not sure if Scotland features in that 54m. number.

I said a long time back, SP is often just sentiment. In early 2000's many software companies had P/E's of 40 to 50 and had made no profits. Hopefully CC will soon break even and then be away.
It is the product/software that counts, after that its the talk of the market.

If you go back about 1,000 pages you may learn a bit about CC.

Question is are they just reshaping their Pensions Portfolio or are they doing a deal.

Tillytish withdraw. You will get sucked in. I know what you are saying. Incidentally although JC has chanced his arm a few times, under AIM you are not supposed to forecast.

But slightly, we have until 15th and meeting. I think it is probably what was being discussed last year.
What can be considered as assets in forward contracts. Accountants are the biggest pain in backside.

Hello Vas/LTI.. I think that any obstacle or update CC will take on to solve and have an answer available.
My question Vas is, is that thinking up to date being 5 years old. In the meantime CC has developed the Advance Omni, and Canopy System which as it can attach to existing systems and mushroom out must be a very cheap system. Also not forgetting that all systems have to face 'notspots'.

Apart from SP I am quite pleased with achievements of CC. Hopefully new contracts such as BI, China, will develop fast once they start to produce our RF incorporated meters, I see a massive market, likewise if HM Power has any involvement then we have their expertise.
On home front I hope JC negotiated the advanced Omni for SMETS2 as I believe this is the one that deals with IoT. As IoT advances I could see the dual hats possibly being an upgrade option.

Hello Vas.. 1 million declaration would be nice, even 100,000 successful activation's to date. I think we will be updated on SMETS2 returns at meeting, any advances that may have been received, activation fee, licensing/maintenance and any of these recalculated fees spread over the 15 years.
These milestones, 100,000; 500,000; 1,000,000 will be significant in size and reliability.

fulcrum, I am mindful of situation, I have been in a long time. There are always exceptions but most have averaged down, you could still be at 57p. What I am saying is that for all the false starts we have had 2019 appears to be coming together in as much as contracts (esp UK) are beyond pilot's 21,000 etc, research is done for this step of the way. Leasing, which was only introduced later, is now taking hold. I would not be surprised from what I am hearing that providing 'notspots' are as prevalent as said we are looking at anything up to 5,000,000 RF's in say 2 years.

Trouble is woolley this is AIM and the risk has to be calculated. For argument sake if this was InTel you would have a fairly secure share unless chip market etc collapsed but you would only be moving up/down by a few pence as it is established and you would be putting in millions to secure a return.
At present the upside of CC is we have the UK RF contract which is probably being viewed from around the world because of its location and size. Only getting say 10% is a massive and all eyes will be on its success with the notspots problem. After that CC will able to blow its own trumpet.

Again you are right woolley, well partly, most averaging has been done around share issues, not market high's and low's although there have been some ask Greengrass. In any other case I would not advocate averaging down but it has kept me in the running on this occasion.
The thing with buying now it that there is a fair chance CC has bottomed out, leave it longer and it may rise and fall in dribs and drabs and may prove a loser for some, except Greengrass,LOL.

woolley, again I can see your logic. However in the past the future could not be foreseen. Cyan was heavily involved in India and soaking up the cash; this due principally to Indian Government delays but as time past it also caused a dilemma with IPv6 emerging, this was resolved with Connode, H said earlier that UK was not viable but Connode had done the work so it was now an earner, Omni has been further advanced so is now compatible in many more fields and taking advantage.
Arqiva took on Northern contract but has massive resources so did not have to come cap in hand for cash.
That is what the mischievous back biting is all about, CC had to create it funds 'on the hoof'. If over time CC had borrowed, which I suggested, we would not have averaged down but had a massive debt and probably same SP. So JC decisions were probably the best although I should imagine he had a few thoughts.
Hopefully most long term holders by averaging are not much off current SP and newcomers will gain a lot.
As LTI would say, that is only my opinion.

Hello Greengrass.. I am sure you are in, the writing is on the the wall, it is all systems go. I am now looking for numerous updates in coming months as deliveries go live.
I understand the range of the RF module is now up to 2km. and can be used for industrial buildings, villages, 'notspots' etc

woolley, if only,LOL.. Even you must recognise that CC is climbing back. If it had not been for the dragged out start of SMETS2 consolidation price would have held. Then some mouthy contributors added to the bit of doubt that existed. CC was never going to make money early after the Government delays in India but that is all past, R&D for Omni costed and complete, small R&D for this new venture which may even have been contained within the existing figures, CC notifications (RNS) of any profits hopefully, I do not care what size an RNS is for, as long as it is an inroad.
CC started off small whilst others had millions, probably was more stressful than JC imagined due to setbacks, in SP terms I am now looking for a 'break out'. I feel newcomers are definitely at the bottom of cycle and we are now at takeoff.

Hello Imperial.. I picked up on 'district heating' but have now had a second and third read. Whilst smart meters and 'canopy' are the bread and butter, this is a new dimension. I have always understood that cold countries went for this including a type in New York but only thought heat reusing in UK was in places like I think Tottenham, North London where in the past they used latent heat from a giant waste disposal plant to heat a nearby housing estate.
This is what CC needs to break into the Sensor Industry with hi-tec R&D that's up to date.

Now is the time for in. We know roughly the R&D spend of £560k pm. and shall soon know the rolled up income from various projects. If as I am thinking SMETS2 forms the backbone for cash over next few months and Anil has made a few more contacts, then we on track for an early break-even. To any newbies, this industry is long drawn out but 2019 I feel will be the culmination and the snowball effect will take over. You will be told of all the setbacks of last few years but this is AIM and a new industry. CC RF with the contracts secured is on its way. Anil (CEO) India is, I understand doing very well and I hope he gives a good account at meeting, a very enthusiastic person, if you have met him.
Not many get it right but this the stage I would like to have been at when buying in.
