Looks like we have moved into the area of buy/sell, which is as it should be, but not just yet. There is not enough differential to make it worthwhile so somebody trying to create a new bottom. Now is the time to buy, even for averaging, we now have this £400-500k monthly cost which is being chipped away at. £500k = equals £6m. £400k = £4.8m. Plus increased income. Logic is that as the months go by in 2019 things will improve continuously.
We do need another contract like BI where most of the work is being done for us.

Hello jake.. Could well be the reverse. A take over is well within my view. SP is giveaway but will probably not last beyond AGM. UK is on a roll, I would like to know estimated total CC RF percentage now Utilities have started on the ground assessments. Can't wait to see the start of BI, may be nothing but probably massive with their market openings.

Morning norfolk.. I don't think anybody is dumping. Shares are often bought in lumps, privately or across the market..The main thing is to know where they are going and if somebody is building.
You may not remember, here we go again, but last October time 5m shares were bought on open market and apart from me not a single question was raised. It happens all the time.

Go along with a lot you said but there is a slight difference, Modi is back in and wants smart, CC is now embedded in the 3 most major suppliers, we now have canopy that can be built on without new set ups, and as we are now mainly software with costs considerably down and in certain cases ($4m) we are being paid with no costs for the hardware.

Hello Bordersman.. Not quite as worrying as that. The monthly costs are now below £500k. The new direction that CC is going in requires little outlay. Income should be arriving, even if in dribs and drabs initially. India has turned the corner especially with PM Modi back in, if we got 20% of that market it would be a winner, saying that advisedly, bearing in mind we are embedded in the meters of India's three largest manufacturers who have 50% of the market.. CC has had its ups and downs as we all know. However 2019 is a watershed and slowly gather pace.
There is concern among some regarding UK contract. The 10% minimum forecast for 'notspots' as far as I can ascertain has not changed. Many multi storey blocks will need CC RF to reach this 99% target. I personally would like monthly reports on UK from CC on the North and South contracts for comparison and success rate and how is arqiva dealing with notspots.

Hello jake.. I don't know that much technically about the situation but you seem to know less.
My reference to DCC salvation was that the UK Government had laid down rules and regulations relating to coverage,which I think the original SMETS1 group of companies though that they could achieve. SMETS1 was not establishing communication in many household locations and was leaving them for later and additionally many were not interoperable. You would have thought that both problems would have been discovered before starting early rollout, obviously not such a clever group of companies after all.
The Northern Contract works on a different wireless system which requires many masts (700) at great expense.
I think that you are trying to drag Central Contract into these.
Just to repeat, net is on course to reach 99.25% coverage, now if the SMETS1 and SMETS2 were walking away from the ones they cannot fix then you would not get that %. Obvious.

I have a keen interest on UK CC RF, hearing that Dual HATS are being fitted. Not bothered about the 500k licences advanced fees, what I want to know starting from '0' what is being fitted, dual hats, on a monthly basis. Its the kudos that counts at this juncture. A graph, I am into those, would be a nice thing alongside numbers, on CC's Website home page. At present we do not even get a mention from DCC yet we proving to be their salvation.

BST, not quite right I feel. As you know we are only involved in 'notspots'. In the article it said that when they attempted to fit SMETS1, if they failed to get a signal they abandoned and left existing meter.
That says to me that those 'notspots' were not resolved and remained for SMETS2 to deal. Therefore the same number of 'notspots' exist as of the beginning. We were not involved with SMETS1 and will now pick up those outstanding RF needs from that era.
Disappointing that CC RF was not mentioned at all. It is as if they did not feature. Whereas ZigBee are said to be using the 800 wavelength for internal use.

Thanks tony.s, I have been watching the India results. Bodes well for CC among others as he will now push on, with less opposition, to update India's villages and cities to compete against China.
Anil's statement that we are now, I think, embedded into meters of the top 50% of India's Meter Manufacturers means we have a chance of getting involved in most tenders, especially if they require more than one manufacturer for an installation.
Thanks Vas/LTI. I was disappointed when it was confirmed Connode had previously obtained a UK advance although had JC been in that position he would have loved to secure it. Anyway that is money spent, what we now need is numbers for SMETS2 that we have connected which I understand is available. Of course money is important to everybody and we are keen to get a result from Anil but with UK it is now a matter assuring shareholders that our participation in UK, with it's large numbers is well underway. Its now the capability part that will prove CC's solution. Speaking on the ground they are going in (Dual HAT) so why no numbers. The first 500k are committed, and I am sure JC must have mentioned that at Takeover. So forget money, I want to know 100,000> 200,000 etc etc.That will allay many fears.

Only a fool would now hark on previous years, we all know what happened but the upside is the Updated Omni got to completion which gives CC a good market this year.

Bamby, you are not reading this BB. All has been said. There are a few areas where I would liked to have have seen more advancement but it is on course with costs now down to less than £500. You might just get your money back in a few months, that is if you have any in the pot.

Hello Rkk1..As LTI says whilst contracts abroad are hopefully proceeding nobody quite knows situation, mainly because of politics. I thought the Bangladesh problem had been sorted in that the the manufactured items had been transferred elsewhere. We will have to find out tomorrow.
With the UK CC is only involved with SMETS2 and only with RF. SMETS1 as we have been told was sorted out and those 14m meters are supposed to be made interoperable via DCC later this year by the original suppliers NOT CC..
I think that there is now a bit of scaremongering going on in News Media, nothing like a good story even if only chiseled together. From what I can understand there are only 800,000 SMETS2 installed and only a percentage using RF. I would like to know from JC what if any of those RF's are defective or not interoperable and if none make a press statement.
If any of the SMETS2 SIM installations are not working properly they need to be changed to RF.

You are a small shareholder in a small company, AIM at that with the associated risks, you will never be told everything.
We are told these Pipelines are still progressing and until told otherwise that is it. Don't talk your share into the the ground for the sake of it. None of us know so wait and see.

Hello Vas, there is not much in going back over the last 6 years. Most of us know what happened, basically Indian Government set knew requirements, we got IPv6 via Connode which put us back in the running, we took over UK which after delays is under way, the 500k licence is a bit of a hindrance but soon be achieved, end of year should even out but may depend on a couple more new contracts or existing ones coming through.
This year I am looking for continuous updates, as I said before this product is completed so it is now PR.

Evening all, I do not think that CC will need to increase bank. I feel that because we now have UK underway and with installations unlikely to stalland most likely to increase many fold this year there will not be a call. Although Heather and JC were thinking cautiously it worries the Market.
Right, we have this situation where 500k licenses have been paid up front, any other time we would have been delighted unfortunately it was before the takeover. This leaves possibly 4m RF installations to go and that is a lot of meters.
Hopefully JC will give us a countdown from 500k to Zero, at 10%+ it should soon be achieved.
