We have two sites near me covering multiple fields of solar panels...

If surrey was truly green it would convert 10% of horse land and golf courses rather than lose grade 3A+ farming land

All I can find is schools adding a few solar panels abandoned a single small turbine...
I have started searching the borough council sites but the poxy search Facillities can’t differentiate between wind and windows :-(

Judging by the classic and super cars buzzing past HH, Surrey must have lots of oil they want to keep secret, just for horse boxes TVRs and RangeRovers...

I don’t know how the IOW planning situation is legal? Ignoring the UKOG application for a moment,
They are supposed to pass planning within 6 months ( all applications ) The clock stops whilst you are awaiting information from the applicant . I find it hard to believe cancelling all planning meetings is lawful.

I am wondering what backlog they have? When they plan to resume?

The CPS are a nightmare! You have all the recorded evidence of very serious domestic abuse crime and met CPS guidance & legislation and they want 10x that.
When we finally got to court there were thee sentencing levels

Another case was on tv, a woman who broke 100’s of bottles of booze in her co-op shop got a police caution!

Does that vindicate her? Is it now ok to go and wreck £1000 of a shops stock?

I also had someone set up a HGV yard without planning or an operators licence. Absolutely no enforcement by DVSA, and no enforcement notice from planning.

That doesn’t mean that the HGV operator was vindicated.

If you read the .gov website, planning should be in presumption of development
So as an example, you need to prove the highway to be dangerous, not think it MIGHT be.
Also the planning guarantee , 6 months in planning , 6 months in appeal ( excluding awaiting further information )

It was rejected on transport safety yet the safety was covered by traffic lights, small junction improvements and existing farm cattle traffic uses the lane.

The other point : affect on the landscape.
The site is partially screened by trees, wild bird planting 2m high , cammo fencing
The site is temporary 3 years and the rig very temporary at about 12 weeks.
The site is not an AONB. The local are of significance carries no weight Vs NPPF

It is going to cost surrey £4-500k costs...
