Cinders
They published an informative photo yesterday
And the update pgphotos a phase been regular and show good progress
Turkey updates
March 23 road construction
April 1st pad and rd excavation
14th april larger pad and rd
23rd pad and mud pits
30th April measuring pad for rig
5th May conductor set in ready for concrete, Mud pits complete.
For all the negative spin ... This is my take.
Horse hill is producing.
Production will increase when the EA approve the change to permit in a few weeks
Costs will reduce further
Dunsfold will almost certainly win the appeal
IOW planning is marked for decision ( when the officers report is completed and the Councilors are fully rested after a tiring local election )
The placing that never arrives will or won’t happen
Turkey pad is proceeding nicely with regular updates
March 23 road construction

And these are confirmed by are satalite expert with regular updates
AME have their own rigs.

So that’s another de-ramp busted
Mirasol, when the EA approve the water injection and gas limits on HH1 production will increase because storage and tankers will be oil only.
Also costs will reduce.
Then there is Turkey and the price rise as it spuds.
Thirdly in a couple of months the planning inspector will look at the Dunsfold fiasco.
That will almost certainly be overturned and planning fees and expenses returned.
So throw your dragons and dungeons dice... multiply the chances of success in three Turkey wells. And Dunsfold , and horse hill production from the existing well.
And tell me where the share price and cash flow will be in 12 months time!
The reduced storage limit is because the EA can’t process a bigger scale application at the moment. ( based on the letter on the planning system )
If HH 1 can produce more with water injection and they are planning to drill HH3 and 4 to the Kim and Portland ( at some time) then they must expect the EA to come through with consent for large scale storage. Once that is approved SCC will have to approve an amendment to the oil storage consents.
I think this scuppers the “ HH is dead” theorists....
I think it’s two tanker per day for a while, but more volume in a year or so.
“ At the end of the accounting period, further well intervention operations on HH-1 were safely completed, optimising oil flow by isolating the Kimmeridge perforations, by reperforating the full Portland oil producing section, by insertion of a new simplified production tubing string and by setting the downhole pump at a deeper level to increase pumping efficiency. These improvements set HH-1 up for long term continuous and optimised oil production from the Portland. Water injection plus further infill development of both Portland (HH-3 well) and Kimmeridge (HH-4 well) offer upside for the Horse Hill field.
Post-period the intervention was immediately followed by an ongoing series of multi-week production optimisation trials to achieve an optimum balance between oil revenues and water handling and other operational costs. Trials include well-cycling (i.e., shutting in the well for a set period each day to reduce water inflow) and pump fill optimisation. The trials continued for several months. Early results are encouraging, with stable oil and water influx levels achieved by early 2021.
As of end-February, over 137,000 bbl of Brent quality crude had been produced and exported from the Kimmeridge and Portland pools.
In line with the challenging oil price environment, significant further efforts have also been made in managing and reducing operational costs. From January 2020 to January 2021 our total operating costs have reduced by 66%. The savings will help place Horse Hill in a good position to take advantage of the strengthening Brent crude prices seen in the past month.
It is expected that further HH-3 Portland and HH-4 Kimmeridge infill wells will be planned in detail and drilled at Horse Hill.”
People are deliberately being selectively dishonest , missing out the parts of the letter that doesn’t firvthier deramping agenda
It is true there is a reduction in storage to get the application through.
BUT... this is because the EA can’t process the full application for higher storage quicker ( seams like the EA are massively under resourced)
Also production is reduced UNTILL the water reinjectiin is approved and running
You have to read the whole letter as it is written.
It is what it is , but the deceitful spin is shameful
“ Pumping started in 1986 from the Wessex Basin aquifer at a depth of 1,800 metres and a temperature of 76 °C.[1][2] The system initially supplied only the Southampton Civic Centre, but was gradually expanded to serve over 1,000 residential properties,[1] as well as the WestQuay shopping centre, the Royal South Hants Hospital, Solent University and the Carnival offices; and is part of an enlarged city centre district heating system that includes other combined heating, cooling and power sources.”
I point out the university is 3.3miles from west-quay well site
So clearly similar distance as Gatwick is from HH
Southampton heated the Civic center and built the brutalist flats, I think they heated the Olympic sized swimming pool too at the time. I think it may heat WestQuay shopping center too? Maybe a shopping mall? I think they could heat the airport...
Horse Hill needs a housing development :-)

Rum...
Drill a well, looking for geothermal, accidentally drill trough the kim and Portland to get core samples
Then produce electric, hot water
See southampton geothermal 62 deg heats parts of the city...
Hot spars, like the romans
And then there is the rum maturing warehouse!
Nope! I’m not making it up....

Second paragraph
It’s interesting watching the investors play chicken :-)
Who will break first....
Approximately two weeks to the planned spud.
Satalite pics I have seen show the well pad has expanded from the square to a rectangle . The road looks 3 times the width too.
Some are waiting for “the placing” but what if there is “no placing” :-)
Left at the sidelines ...
Your decisions
They are talking BS.
Money is set aside and the companies are insured.
The abandonment costs are relatively small, 2-300k per site
Plug the well
Recover the sub base stone, ( and sell it ) recover the membrane
Move the soil bunds
Recover the fencing
Prepare the topsoil
Plant trees, grass as required
