Revised IOW plans were submitted recently for a slightly moved entrance and onsite parking
Also ecological matters.
A new site notice has been published and new consultation period for the final draft of plans
(See the cover letter)
All this ( fingers crossed) is heading towards a likely planning meeting on March 16th.
Obviously these are strange times...

I’m selling Tescos slots ;-)
No beer left as 30 million in tier 4 decide they need more!
Alcoholics anon put out an appeal for 5x more helpers
What am I going to do with 3 Xmas puddings?
3lb of sprouts
5kg of spuds and a XL turkey..
And they have all had their Amazon parcels essential to the wrong house ;)
Most of this is in jest
We need to wait for the appeal to be on the planning inspectorate web site. That can take a month after it is submitted.
I will publish a link when it’s live.
It’s worth starting with the official reasons to refuse
Then looking up NPPF on those sections
Structuring an argument quoting the documents that show the applicant mitigated those points
Then going to conduct and time delays and impact.
You might include a short paragraph on the 3 stages of development
Need for development and net zero hydrogen potential
Temporary site and ris and cranes are temporary structures
I want to clarify a point.
You can write and submit what ( opinion) you want to a planning inquiry without risk of costs.
If you give evidence as opposed to opinion , which is not true, written or oral to the inquiry that is false, costs can be awarded against you.
So if you claim traffic chaos you need some photos or data to support that. Then you need to prove it will be severe. if you falsely claim congestion on the M3 then you could get stung for the costs of the applicant preparing a report to dispel that and barrister costs etc.
The same principle could apply to claims about pollution, earthquakes, landscape, zombies.
I will make a significant submission to the inquiry.
There are two important points to make at the inquiry.
One to prove the planning reasons for refusal wrong
Two is to prove unreasonable behaviour to get all planning and legal fees back off Surrey. Sadly unless these people mislead the inquiry they cannot be awarded costs personally ( any person council, applicant , public can be awarded costs against them in an inquiry for unreasonable behaviour )
Two persons should be investigated
Penny rivers who was looking for reasons to refuse. Comments like looking at a muddy puddle in a field and wanting to refuse on flood risk.. embellishing the comments to the “bride getting married 50m from the flare”
Chevrons on the bends basically only being there because it’s a dangerous route for lorries , overstating the status of the area, then retweeting that they had crashed the share price. There were also fake claims about the number of wedding events anted traffic predictions to the wedding venue
The other is Stephen Cooksey being guided by a councilor from a borough council in how to vote, and then being told not to to do this in the re-run she appears again in his video.
Also Mp Jeremy hunt , lobbying with fake claims that allowing this O&G application would bring more housing to Waverly. He is an Ex government conservative minister and carry’s great persuasive weight.
Then there is the completely fictitious reasons for refusal.
Highways. No one is complaining about the 1000’s of lorries that will build on Dunsfold airdrome or the wedding suppliers or brewery lorries or to the Cancer whisperers festival. The only lorries that will be dangerous will be oil lorries.
Then we get objection to the industrial site in the countryside. Ignoring NPPF for a moment . There is a biomass plant, a race track, airfield field, brewery , glam ping tents, Marquees .1000’s of new houses coming, Are all ok. But a 3 year temporary operation less than 3m tall and a few temporary rigs and cranes, partially shielded by trees, camo fencing, wild bird planting that goes to 6-9 feet
None of this is particularly visible to the public highway , only to a rarely used bridle way that on my first visit the gat was jammed shut with a log and a tree was down across the bridle way
The cancer festival is headlined by Sophie Sabbage cancer whisper, and he charges the ill and worried £40 each to buy his beer. He is not doing this as a charity!
As someone who lost his dad to kidney cancer and has had two cryo-ablations on my own kidneys I find this sort of mumbo jumbo snake oil festival offensive.
He seamed to omit the cancer whisperer and his £40 entrance fee from his planning talk
It’s not about education it’s more a culture.
Transit vans built in Turkey are not as good as ones built in Eastleigh.
Bosch fridges built in Turkey are not as good as Bosch fridges built in Germany...
If you agree a taxi fare in Turkey, they find a price to add on,
If you ask to go to a named builders merchant .... but you end up at his second cousins DIY shop!
Doing straightforward business is a challenge !
I’m not a fan of Business in Turkey. However if it works on project 1. ....The three new licence areas are almost free. If project 1 does not work then you might end the partnership.
It really depends on the working relationship with AME. Cem Sayer seams a reasonable person. Importantly to me he’s not Turkish. ( I struggle with the promises made by Turks as they do something else )
“ In addition to this untapped potential, Turkey’s competitive royalty rate of 12.5% and corporate tax rate of 20% result in relatively high profitability in a global context and make Turkey a very lucrative target for investment. Given strong reference prices, and a Government take that is amongst the lowest in the world, companies operating in Turkey should be capable of reaping very robust returns.”
Compensation for revoked planning consent
1990 planning act
section 107
“107 Compensation where planning permission [F1or permission in principle] revoked or modified.
(1)Subject to section 116, where planning permission [F2or permission in principle] is revoked or modified by an order under [F3section 97(1)(a)], then if, on a claim made to the local planning authority within the prescribed time and in the prescribed manner, it is shown that a person interested in the land or in minerals in, on or under it—
(a)has incurred expenditure in carrying out work which is rendered abortive by the revocation or modification; or
(b)has otherwise sustained loss or damage which is directly attributable to the revocation or modification,
the local planning authority shall pay that person compensation in respect of that expenditure, loss or damage.
”
It’s not and never has been tanker tricks. There really isn’t anyone there much at the moment .
It is still pressure build up , produces fixed amount or down to a target pressure, and monitored pressure build up again gathering all the correct data.
He is trying to measure the reserve size or the connectivity to the Kim or HH2
We suspect there have been other unobserved tanker trips judging by the tyre tracks in the autumn leaves ...
This one in Kent was approved, but the comments show the uphill path that Boris has chosen
CPR, wide life , surrey Councilors , the “green belt”
We really are going to hit an energy supply crisis..
