Thanks for posting this Paul Atherley interview. Three major items of news to expect in the next few months, it seems - contracted costings on the plant, a strategic financing partner announcement, and a second off take agreement. Then, a little later, the results of the new exploration. I have to agree with the previous poster that i don't think a placement is coming. It will probably be a combination of a strategic investor and a bank loan - and I'm sure that the recent additions to the board will be helping with those matters.

In the end there is no point investing in a company when the management are scumbags with no integrity - like here. So, rather than doubling down on my mistake, I've sold out and put the money into Hummingbird, whose management really do have integrity.

If they nationalise the mines Acacia won't be taking any equipment away with them! It would be easy enough for the Tanzanian government to invent a spurious justification, such as compensation for the years of supposed tax evasion.

IMO, it's more likely that the Tanzanian govt goes the full hog and nationalises the mines now. They've gone too far to turn back now - too much prestige is at stake.

Paladin does seem about to go bankrupt. But their big asset, the Heinrich Langer mine in Namibia, will probably be fully taken over by CNNC.

The Reuters report - if accurate - would represent a highly favourable exit from the current impasse for Acacia. Yes, there would be a few extra taxes and costs, but nothing which threatens the ownership of the mines in Tanzania. Back to 400p if true?

Honestly, I'm very surprised that the share price hasn't fallen further today. BA's reputation as a premium carrier has been more or less obliterated over the course of a single weekend, and it can't compete on price or efficiency with low-cost carriers like EasyJet or RyanAir. I'm not shorting this share, because the gain is too small compared to the risk, but I expect a slow long term decline in IAG's share price. It's overvalued, simple as that... Oh, and the CEO really needs to take responsibility and resign!

I find it very worrying that our technical expert sells down his share holding, especially when the share price is still so low. What does he know that we don't? Surely, if all was well he would hold onto his shares and wait at least until the end of the year.
