Can I ask a question of the board? As we know, the radioactivity license for the plant is still outstanding. Does anybody know if the construction of the plant can begin without it, or if we must wait until it is granted before starting building? And, if we must wait, does anybody know a rough timeline for when we can expect it to be granted?

They're still optimistic that in the long term the market will move into deficit and prices will rise. But they have pushed back the date of this happening.

Hopefully, this board will slowly realise that Cora is a good company - regardless of what Glenwick are or are not. As far as I can see Cora were dead right to back out of the reverse takeover and go it alone.

Batfink - the truth is, none of us really knows how this company is doing; we are being kept in the dark deliberately by the BoD. That could indeed mean a rip-off takeover, or it could simply mean production at the mine is going very badly. The trouble is, neither option is good for shareholders. Also, I assume that there is still a large stock overhang at 6p from the placing, so that puts an effective ceiling on any SP rise. So all pretty gloomy.

For me, the key issue here isn't Rainbow's performance as a company, which I believe will be good. Rather, it's country risk. Will Burundi descend into civil war, or near civil war, making mining operations impossible? Or will Burundi's current leaders get greedy and try to take over the mine? (It is to be noted that Burundi is next door to Tanzania (see Acacia / Petra Diamonds and their troubles), and the two regimes are on friendly terms.) That for me is the downside risk here.

I asked the question "what to do?" on this board yesterday. After reading the RNS this morning and thinking things through, I've taken a small "starter" position here. I like the company's management (very important), its relatively strong cash position, and its basic business proposition. I'm still concerned about country risk, of course, but I'm hoping for the best. - Not worried about using wheelbarrows, but I do agree this investment may take a few months to pay off!

MrMilky - I have to ask this... Why are you endlessly regurgitating old RNS's, many of which are full of lies, in an attempt to ramp this dying company? Can't you see that the market has lost all trust and faith in the BoD, and for very good reasons?

I don't think you understand how market-makers work. (I do; I have family who are market-makers). For a company like KENV market-makers will typically run a very short book - that is, they will try to avoid holding too many shares at any one time. They won't be trying to make any more money from this stock than can be made on the spread. KENV's problems run far deeper than any supposed market manipulation, and they are related to things like BoD truthfulness (or lack of) and the impossibility of knowing what the mine is actually producing. I'd imagine this SP drop has a long way to go yet.

Water issues have been mentioned in several RNS's this year - just read through them. There have also been repeated mentions of new equipment maintenance regimes, which I take as code for "the old machinery is knackered and needs to be replaced". However you look at it, investors are being asked to put money in a mine without an independently analysed resource (JORC), which previously went bankrupt, which is in one of the most hostile environments on the planet, and whose management have repeatedly shown themselves to be untrustworthy. Honestly, I'm expecting total business failure here; though possibly after a long drawn out process and several more dilutive fundraisings.

Sorry, but you can't trust the words of a company where the BoD has lied and lied and lied. This share is truly uninvestable. (And the customer confidentiality clause excuse is probably hogshit - I've seen it wheeled out this way many times).

As a business proposition, RBW looks good for a small miner. But political risk (Burundi) simply couldn't be higher. What to do?

IMO, no, there isn't really a reason for this fall in HOC's share price that I can see; take it as a buying opportunity. HOC's shares will swing up again soon enough.

Yes, this is a quiet time for the company and the SP. But, remember, the Salamanca mine starts production at the end of 2018 / beginning of 2019. So it's not all that long to wait. What normally happens in cases like these (at least to me) is that the SP jumps the exact moment that you least expect it. So I just hold dumbly. The SP simply MUST rise (and by a lot) as the mine becomes operational.

Re: lithium. KENV seem to have realised that either: 1) They sell the lithium bearing spudomene as raw ore for shipment to China. However, in this case, transport costs from such a remote location will be more than the sale price of the raw ore; OR 2) They process to lithium carbonate on site. However, in this case they don't have the water, the technical knowledge, and the finance (and it's big money) to make this work. So, yeah, IMO, the lithium is pretty much a lost cause. As for Larry, the RNS's SINCE his appointment have been misleading and frankly sub-literate. Judge him by the company he keeps!
