Pretty solid update.

As long as production is in accordance with guidance and debt has come down there is nothing to fear tomorrow at all. None of the II's will be fretting over this and none of us should either. The corner was turned a while ago - OPEC is committed to oil prices that balance their books. I expect a measured rise tomorrow based on this and continued oil rebound.

I think detailed Zama information unlikely tomorrow, as as new material information has to come straight to market. More interested in where oil price is heading at the moment than tomorrow's update, feel like it could be about to breakout towards $65 in Jan.

My thoughts exactly. Why are people asking why stock prices go up and down - if you ask these sorts of questions I don't think you should really be buying shares.

Nice. Expect a fair few will sell out around £30 so may consolidate around that level before further upwards move.

Something happening here. Price is going through the gears

To put it in perspective, 6% short at current market cap is approx £140m or more. Saw a few large trades reported after bell yesterday but really, they need big volume to close that kinda of position out. If the Brexit deal is signed and the trading update is good they will literally get blown out of the water on this IMO.

I also can't believe Boohoo escaped without such a slump - granted their bottom line is better, but that is temporary. ASOS is literally hoovering up market share.

The shorts could lose all their profit on this pretty quickly - as was always stated by CEO - that profit warning was a minor blip, yet still the shorts piled in. Serves them right!

This is still dirt cheap IMO. Lot of other opportunities out there, but as someone else said the downside here has to be pretty limited. The Next online sales boost was the key indicator of a recovery for me. Expect this to start moving fast once the shorts move on.

Tells us all we need to know, lot of buys went through today at far higher than close.

Late to the party...took some @68p. Will let it ride till triple figures this time. Was in and out of this lots during last sustained recovery...learnt to just sit pretty and ignore the noise even when it retraces! Good luck all.

I also thought this has bottomed. The margin point below is key..2% is not good enough so this is being punished for that imo. Makes me wonder if their model actually works.

If Greenspan is correct and this is the big one (unwinding of the equities bubble) we have been waiting for, this has further to fall, way further. If it is a wobble and we get the recovery coming through in Jan its a steal. He said if the market recovers from here, next time it tilts get the hell away or something to that effect. I do feel like we are playing in the twilight zone slightly with the global growth story...media sensationalise the movements to such an extent its hard to see the true picture though...just don't know at the moment.

More likely a sell. This market will punish growth stocks more than those with higher earnings...the short interest on ASOS is significant. Not sure there is much to drive it back until new year trading updates. Half the issue in this sector is loss making high street stores discounting to stay in existence...They will go but as they do it grinds down whole sector short term. ASOS clearly the future IMO though so just a case of waiting it out.
