Just a reminder mystery guy you bought because of the KNB investment then threw your toys out the pram when the disposed of some of the investment at 24p (it's now 17p). So based on your initial investment decision you were wrong. Also our KNB investment was only £150k but you were happy to get in at 0.12p....so what if people think we will go higher than that based on a £2.35m investment!
You then claimed SGS got their shares at 0.06p which was again wrong. You then said you were waiting to break even so assume you have now sold?! Which begs the question why you are still here?
You were right in the recent spike but then again a stopped watch is right twice a day.
Do you honestly think if they get an RNS out stating terms of a commercial deal in the next 3-4 months our SP would have a ceiling of 0.15?

yesterdays high 0.14 to todays close 0.085. Wow.

I would rather have a chat with JN and get his thoughts. His silence is deafening, he could have said something in the RNS at least, but nothing. Looking at the time of VELA RNS it looks like they were last to know!

Do we now expect the final report 8 weeks after this now, as per RNS in April?

Uncle Jim i read that tweet. interesting they called it the initial results in the tweet. Those who have been around will know:
''The enrolment target is expected to be met in April 2021. The final study visit ('Last Patient Out' date) will be no more than 28 days after completion of enrolment. Once the final study visit has taken place, the timelines for database lock and the reporting of the initial study results will be communicated. At this time, it is estimated that initial results will be available by the end of June 2021, with the full results available approximately 8 weeks thereafter.''

Not that this is any consolation but CIZ are also down back to the pre RNS levels. The market needs more from this trial, that much is clear. I did read something on twitter which may shed some light, make of it what you will:

Shame the results weren't statistically significant.
A 'strong trend' is a meaningless term; with small numbers could just be chance.
Lots of talk, but no data presented..

But Robbo Vela issued those warrants as part of a placement back in Aug 2020, 2 months before the SGS trial investment was announced they had no way of knowing the perfect storm that was cooking up

This is a tough one now. What will now lift the SP? If we have a deluge of warrants and SGS sell their 1.1B shares do we sell our shares now and buy back cheaper but risk a piece of news that reignites this.

Unfortunately some of these guys are right. There has to be a reason we have gone from 0.12p down to 0.09p on the news. No other COVID stocks have fallen 25% based on perceived good news.
Just keep holding and this will come good, just not as quick as we thought.

Well the start has answered the question. I will have to read yesterday's RNS again as I thought it was good news.

That's the problem. Because we are down they are out in force with the falling SP backing their drivel. Rest assured we did not hear much from this week until today....

Dread to think what would of happened if the trial was a dud....

Would really like someone who has sold to share their reasoning behind it. Why sell lower than the price yesterday?! And why sell on good news. A commercial deal was reliant on the trial being successful, which the news today says it was! So a commercial deal is now inevitable of which we get 8% of over £19.5M....

Looking at it, CIZ have a figure of up to £5M whereas we are still in the dark as to what we get out of this. The way I see it is if CIZ will get £5m then there is a decent deal to be had so our 8% will be handsome money indeed.

Sometimes it takes a day or two to sink in. Lets see where we are close of play tomorrow.

Perfect storm in motion. We have the news the trial is a success we now wait for the commercialisation deal. 8% (over £19.5m) do the maths guys if the drug is worth:
£100M = £6.44M to VELA
£250M = £18.44M to VELA
£500M = £38.44M to VELA

VELA spent £2.35m on the trial. We have other investments remember we did over 200% on KNB and are on a free ride. Imagine JN with a proper war chest of cash!

Genuinely feel sorry for PIs who sold due to the drop this morning. I can't imagine selling this morning when we go the news we wanted! I guess the MMs coupled with the doom mongers that come out does sway peoples heads. Believe in your research guys.
