I think this is the part where mystery guy has got confused from his source of information:

Glad we can now clear this up for you mystery guy - the above from alliance news is wrong. Vela did a placing at 0.0065p to raise funds to pay SGS £1.25M cash then the other £1.1m was by way of shares in VELA (1.1B @0.01p).

I can see where you went wrong but to not actually read the RNS regarding this and spread miss information from a miss worded article is just stupid.

And just to double down my point just do the maths from that statement I have quoted from your source - £1.1m divided by 1.1b shares does not equate to 0.0065p per share.

So can we now put to bed the SGS have got a discount and realise they paid a PREMIUM.

Morning! Thought I would update the VELA investments post I did a while back (concentrating more on the JN investments):

MODE - £250k @ 50p along with £66,319 @ 0.55p giving us an average of 0.51p (at time of writing MODE SP is 0.48p) Current holding is worth circa £298k

Aeristech - £350k investment awaiting IPO

Cornerstone - £200k @ 50p and another £150k @ 61p giving us an average holding @ 54p (Current SP is 29.5p) we also have 400,000 warrants with a right to subscribe at 50p per share. current holding worth ~ £190,000

SGS - THE BIG ONE - £2.35M investment by way of cash and shares in VELA (1.1Billion shares in vela at 0.1p) results due end of Aug/Sept

KNB - £150k @ 6.5p - disposed of 1M shares = £233,801 plus we retained 1,307,692 shares with a current value of circa £285k

MTI - £200k investment @ 80p a share - Currently 72p = Current value - £180k

Northcoders - £750k investment representing a 6% holding in Northcoders. Currently valued at £12.75m (x 6%) = £765k

A 20M sell at .72 is madness!! Must need the money

1)angelfish RNS stating there is commercialisation talks in progress
2)VELA RNS regarding the long term immunity beyond the vaccines.

We will hear from SGS before VELA on the trial results. VELA have never announced anything regarding the trial before SGS have so as and when news hits on the trial I believe it will be before an RNS lands...

Taking this line from the RNS :
''Subject to successful indications in June 2021 about the outcome of the study, conversations about commercialisation and potential license deals with third parties will commence at that time.''

If they want to blow our socks off they can release the initial results with a commercial deal in place already!

Yeah I must admit I thought it was all positive yesterday then looked into the app they have launched and underwhelming would be an understatement, no merchants and dropping their current revenue stream in August.....

It looks like the market is telling us what it thinks of the App launch.........
