I must admit i am still a little confused why we still have £2M sat in the bank, hoping he has it earmarked for something huge!

HeresHopin has the right idea. Yes, there could be other opportunities in the interim period before results but if we get even a sniff of positivity or news of a substantial new investment then the investors will be paying a higher premium. These levels are an absolute bargain.

I think it was said at the time of the 144 patient announcement why they didn't wait until they had done the full 150 patients. Either way I do think an RNS would be a good shout.

Anyway the house is in order, we have good investments, a stack of cash in the bank and our man JN steering the ship. Lucky new shareholders getting in at this price.

To clear up this point please see from the RNS:

The Consideration Shares will be subject to a lock-in agreement until the successful completion of Phase II of the trial, named ARCADIA, or for a period of two months following completion of the ARCADIA trial, should the outcome of the trials not meet the minimum threshold. The remaining consideration of £1.25 million will be paid by Vela to SGS in cash, funded from the net proceeds of the Placing and from the Company's existing cash resources.

unfortunately there will be a sell off as a lot bought in anticipation of results this month. They will all be back in June for results. There will be some fantastic buying opportunities for us though so every cloud and all that..

MTI - current SP is 78p so our investment is currently worth £195k

As we get ever closer to results of the trial i thought it worth detailing the investments JN has made since taking over, for any newbies:

MODE - £250k @ 50p along with £66,319 @ 0.55p giving us an average of 0.51p (at time of writing MODE SP is 0.55p) Current holding is worth circa £341k

Aeristech - £350k investment pre IPO

Cornerstone - £200k @ 50p and another £150k @ 61p giving us an average holding @ 54p (Current SP is 56p) we also have 400,000 warrants with a right to subscribe at 50p per share. current holding worth ~ £361,705

SGS - THE BIG ONE - £2.35M investment by way of cash and shares in VELA (1.1Billion shares in vela at 0.1p) results due Q2 2021.

KNB - £150k @ 6.5p - disposed of 1M shares = £233,801 plus we retained 1,307,692 shares with a current value of circa £350k

MTI - £200k investment pre IPO @ 80p a share

There is a growing frustration with the SP here. The SP takes one step forward then two back it seems. Need the SGS trial results to (hopefully) add some life back into this! Still yet to see what the recent placing funds are to be used for?!

I will try and explain ibrox - Vela invested £150k in KNB at a price of 6.5p (2,307,692 shares). They then sold 1m shares at a price of 23.5p which equated to £233,801. Now correct me if I am wrong but £233k is more then £150k for starters and we still have 1.307,692 shares in the company which, at the time of writing equates to £297k.
If you could now explain how we are not up on this investment I will happily be proved wrong.

also our avg on Mode is not 55p as we bought £250k worth on the IPO at 50p....

ibroxonia - we have over 1M free shares in KNB! and took £168k profit already, so i would say that is a very good investment....
