any ideas why motif just gone up to 15%+ on the nasdaq?

day trader my sentiments exactly.i am under no illusions whatsoever as to the difficulties and risks involved in staying in here but am facing a very significant paper loss (as are many others who have my sympathy) as i ignored my normally risk averse approach and invested far more in here than was prudent.greed won over common sense but i now intend to hold for the ultimate outcome whatever it may be as the loss of my remaining investment here although unwelcome would not now make a material difference.i have been asking myself whether if i were not already invested here i would consider investing now and i honestly cannot answer that one .we all have our own strategies which are dictated by our personalities and personal circumstances and experience.good luck to all who continue to hold!

bignose i actually agree that there could well be something in the suggestion that interest is being stimulated by FDA progression.it makes a lot of sense.need more volume but nice to see a rise anyway.i was going to say something about dropping stones in my previous post but decided not to tempt fate.i shall hold you responsible now!lol

on a serious note i do feel quite confident about long term FDA approval as fortacin does not seem to be bedevilled by potential toxicity issues etc which seem to spell trouble for other treatments/drugs with the FDA.i completely agree that we can expect similar results in FDA trials ultimately so hopefully approval also.

even if it is designed to facilitate a placing the success of a placing(or whatever finance arrangements are secured) and the strengthening of the financial position will help significantly in restoring some confidence here albeit probably at the expense of some dilution.that said its really all about approval.everything else is just noise and speculation.imo

morning bignose yes i remember what happened yet another false dawn.havent spotted anything to suggest a reason for 7% + rise but volume not huge although well up on recent figures.fingers crossed that its an indication of some real investor interest notP&D but for that we need real volume again i think.also seems a little early to be linked in any way to results.we shall see

no i doubt it the article is in line for one! very one sided imo.no mention of the fact that a significant percentage of drugs which get a CRL subsequently go on to achieve approval.the phrase"crashes at the final hurdle"might be appropriate for a rejection but not for a CRL.very very poor article IMO

bignose/keith have to agree entirely.i just hope the quality of regents tax/legal advisors is substantially higher than that of their /marketingPR advisors as otherwise we can say goodbye to a successful outcome in australian tax case!

crofty.thankyou for posting .i have been looking through the K6 filed yesterday and it simply records the amendments announced in RNS etc.no amendments to the lien whatsoever.i was certain the point arose in the CC yesterday and was answered in the negative.thank you for referring the terms of the original agreement which has saved me the trouble of doing so.not seeking to score points but just want to be factually correct the power given to hercules over the bank accounts is of course perfectly normal and standard practice

no they do not.the point was raised specifically in the CCyesterday and was answered in the negative.what amendment to what agreement issued yesterday are you referring to?

at the moment hercules do not have a charge over the IP. Obviously that could change but that is the current position.
