apologies the australian tax case date is to start on 11th march not 13th. was quoting from memory.i have tried to see if it is still listed for then but cannot crack the system

the actual delay will depend entirely on what the perceived problem is,the FDAs requirements to address the same and Motifs response to the FDAs requirements.it could be a lot less than 12 months.still not good of course but maybe much less of a problem than we may have been fearing.we simply have to wait for the detail.

very interesting ivy.it would certainly seem odd if it was anything more serious given the published results so far but of course we don't know yet.also agree with your and PRs comments re funding. concerns over financial stability would i think be very quickly alleviated if the likelihood of approval was seen as very good although they would not evaporate entirely.still remaining very positive here

personally i can see nothing in the RNS to suggest that the reference to likely future funding need was included with direct reference to the CRL and the possible need for funds for further trials.i accept that it may well have been construed by many as indicating this and thus exacerbating the sell off but there is actually nothing in the RNS to suggest it.i regard it as having been included as a precaution to ensure that the companys overall financial position was made explicit to any potential and existing investors and probably included at the insistence of the nomad.just conjecture on my part and it may well be that in practice the fund rise will be needed in part to cover a further trial if one is required but the two are certainly not inextricably linked in the RNS.

agreed very frustrating.we will hopefully get some information in the full year report which i expect will be about 23rd march (don't shoot me if its a weekend as i haven't checked!).we also have the australian tax case starting on the 13th march (unless its been rescheduled) which although not major in potential impact is not completely minor either.probably won't hear about that for a while though.personally i doubt we shall get back to 1HKD without positive news re US approval which is some way off if ever.this is just my rather pessimistic view at moment based on lack of response to what i thought would be very positive news re china and HK etc.probably all comes down to sales figures for time being which are probably not going to be great although we don't know of course.just my opinion and hope I'm wrong.

ian i agree with your post pretty much completely except that i am not really convinced by the possible use of CLRs here as a means of delay.i have read the articles supporting this as a possibility and would accept that it is a possibility but it seems to me unlikely and perhaps a dangerous tactic to be adopted as if a company experiencing loss as a result could show that an improper use had been made of it a claim might lie against the agency.just my opinion and either of us could be right.no doubt we will never know.agree that better for ceo to say nothing until there is something to say and if it is within the time scale you suggest i would be very pleased.i still remain fully invested.

sheltie i am sorry that my prediction about mrs shelties likely state of mind today is likely to be (very) wide of the mark.patience and good luck are what will be required to restore equilibrium.we need to see what is said over next few days to get a sense of where this may be heading.

last year 13th march notice of board meeting for audited results.23rd march results published so 6 weeks or so probably.

thanks for that sheltie. tbh my view has been very largely influenced by your posts(as well as the s/p movement).i do think the long term potential is very promising(assuming the right kind of marketing/licence agreement )and i am very confident that mrs sheltie(who is i am sure a very reasonable and understanding person) will be well pleased at the ultimate outcome.good luck to you and other holders.

no i don't think there will be any delays except in the sense that the RNS may not come out until thursday(possibly at 2.30pm).not too surprised at lack of spike.i imagine most people will have taken positions in anticipation of approval some time ago.the absence of a spike may be a good sign so any rise on approval will hopefully be sustainable.personally not expecting a huge rise but 50 to 55p seems perfectly possible.i appreciate all the arguments for a much higher figure but s/p movement so far does not seem to support these views i would be perfectly happy with 50p.just my opinion and i know there are lots of different views but they are all just opinions also.at least we will have some facts in the next two days.

sorry to hear you have to sell.i think you will find the spread is quite small.0.305-0.315 for example I'm no expert so you might like to read what others say.
