the scenario you outline is perfectly possible.my hope is that we can get to a point without having to implement some sort of financial raise/placing when we are informed that the submission has been classed as 1.if it gets that classification i would hope that finance arrangements could be made that were not too dilutive and that some confidence might return to enable unwelcome predatory attention to be kept at bay pending hopefully approval of the class 1 submission when value would be restored.if its class 2 then matters will become very difficult indeed.i realise i am probably being naively optimistic and that other less welcome scenarios are entirely possible and perhaps more likely but as a lth with a high average s/p i feel i have little option but to wait and see how this pans out with all fingers crossed. don't think the s/p would be at 8p if we had approval or even if we hear its a class 1 submission but whether we can get there and in what shape is impossible to predict.

well it does have a touch of the jam tomorrows about it but that said it seems to me to represent a very significant opportunity for etc which doesn't yet seem to have been reflected in todays s/p either for ebioss or eqtec.

n4penny i meant to respond to your earlier post sooner but i do agree that this an extremely uncomfortable situation for lths with high average s/ps.i totally sympathise with the anger and frustration at the radio silence but my approach is to try and ignore the absence of information on a daily basis.initially i was concerned that we were not updated as to the submission of the CRL response but as time has gone on i have become more relaxed about it.only the bod and fda know what the problem is and what is going to be required to get over it.calls for bod to don sackcloth and ashes and indulge in a bout of mea culpa are completely understandable but imo pointless for two reasons.first they are not going to do it and second such an approach would,imo achieve absolutely nothing in helping to gain FDA approval which is the only thing that matters.i do not think the company will fail through lack of funds although funding requirements whatever they may prove to be will obviously impact the sp in the short term and probably the longer term.it will fail imo in its present incarnation if it fails to obtain approval but from what little information we have at the moment i am hopeful (it can be no more than that ) that approval will be obtained.the potential for iclaprim is immense and the potential rewards enormous.

investor1111 i note you topped up today at 1.20.i assume you expect the s/p to increase above this figure at some point.if it increases on new contract news as you suggest then that will be a new factual situation in which investors will have to evaluate their future action.the presence or absence of patterns which are in any event an unreliable guide to futures/p action seem to me irrelevant at this particular point and i am puzzled by the significance which you are currently attaching to the reputed patterns.

yes bignose.agree with Keith excellent and informative post re China.makes the muted response to china news even more puzzling but its early days i suppose.at times like this i tend to return to my central tenet which is that at our current low m/c we don't need to set the world on fire to get a significant improvement.we just need to achieve reasonable sales worldwide ultimately to justify a much higher m/c.particularly pleased with the update re FDA program.its now on the horizon as it were and although still some way off i think the time will start to move in a subjective sense quite quickly now and may be a focus for interest from outside entities . who knows, but staying the course in any event.
