well i always say you cannot have too much approval in this world! lol

i expect you are right on your first point bignose and the virtual immediacy of fortacin has always been one of its biggest selling points.i have always been a little concerned by the number of other products in this marketplace but took comfort from our regulatory approval which we have frequently touted as a reason (amongst others) for fortacin to be chosen over other products so a potential rival for FDA approval would be unwelcome but i suppose it would be naive for me to expect us to be the only product to attain that approval and as you rightly say its a very very big potential market. if we do eventually get FDA approval(and i feel confident that we will in time) then i don't think i shall be too worried if there are other products either in or trying to get into the market. just rather irritating to see mail coverage on another product when we have been hoping for some positive publicity for fortacin.also we have a proven approved product whereas this one is as yet unproven and unapproved and as we know it can be a very long process to get approval.

no not exactly the news we were wanting to hear.having no technical pharma knowledge personally i cannot really say anything useful about its potential as a competitor although others on here may perhaps be able to do so.the only thought that crossed my mind is that if it operates as a hormone suppressant it may perhaps involve libido issues but no idea if this is possible and certainly the press article seems to suggest otherwise at least by inference.

bignose thanks for the update on market opening.ive not been to singapore personally but my daughter has been a number of times and has only the highest praise for it .excelent cuisine very safe cultured life style excellent education system etc.she only goes for short periods so does not have permanent residents perspective but always very impressed when she goes.no doubt very low volume next week then but thats been the case for a while anyway so not expecting any fireworks for some time.enjoy the holiday!

thanks for that bignose.it would certainly be a very interesting development if there was news of us license pre approval but we just need to be patient.does start to feel as though things may be coming together and i shall personally be very encouraged to hear news of UK relaunch.thanks for bringing us up to date no more questions from me today I'm off to see my grandchildren!

well bignose that is very interesting.how did you find this out?glad to hear that recordati are still committed.is that from IR?i assume that the reference to north and south america licences being linked to FDA approval means that no agreement will be concluded before approval or are you thinking that as the approval process progresses there may be some form of agreement with a licensee who would take some responsibility for obtaining approval etc as part of the licensing terms?do we have any idea about india or have i missed something?so many questions for a saturday morning sorry!

well thats perfectly possible also US.hope they do it as i suggest but for me the golden rule on AIM and indeed other markets is that nothing ever happens the way you expect!

apropos some of yesterdays posts i would imagine that with news of such a price sensitive nature the FDA decision will have to be announced when both markets are open so 2.30pm here would be my guess not suggesting today just the timing when it happens.aimo

well jimmy stocks you may well be right.if headset sales do improve as suggested then that should certainly give the s/p some positive traction and as i suggest I'm not really qualified to comment on the drawing power os todays artists.my main point really is just scepticism over takeover prospects although in fairness here i could well imagine this proving to be an attractive proposition if it can secure an appropriate user base and obviously its not an expensive proposition at today s/p or even if it trebled.good luck in any event
