They are a 12 billion dollar company so nothing unusual.

Yep, i do think it's either market makers selling between each other trying to force the price down, or your other theory.

All I can say is that I stated this several times that I thought they would bring the price down before news.

They want to accumulate shares and also spook people - although we aren't really in a position to say whether there is actually something to be spooked about.

As far as I know Neil's timeline for news before and of March is about right. It could be anytime within that or maybe just outside the limit (unless something has changed)

Brond.."spooked " directed to a few of the earlier posters today - and fair enough, there should be a healthy skepticism, as a "tight ship" works in both a positive and negative way.

I think the research on here has been second to none, but no-one here can pre-empt glitches or sensitivity/specificity not being up to scratch.

My own research suggests we are still wary of China -Rightly so, as just about every company I've seen linked to the Chinese has been screwed in some shape or form.

Can't really say any more, although hopefully the biotech link-up will buttress this side of things

However I've seen it so often on share boards where people conflate/extrapolate a potential market and come up with an answer of $$Billions - just because the headline figures infer that possibility.

I think Jace is wrongly doing that. Getting carried away I think.

If the test is successful, still think Ciz will be partnered or taken out circa 100- 150Mill.

Cracking Europe/UK/ other parts of the east maybe harder than some people think, and will certainly need a team much, much bigger than Ciz. Which means Ciz will not get to the Billions

A few observations:

1) the last biggish fall was met with "bargain", today people are spooked. What's changed in your minds?

2) I still think these morning block sales are MM games - but it is possible a larger holder is decreasing without notifying (I've seen that before.. they should declare but don't always do)

3) A bigger holder may possibly need some money out in the near term and/or end of tax year reasons (to his credit I've seen that Neil has advised of this in the past, along with buys.

4) there may have been problems or delays that bigger shareholders have got a sniff of.

5) could be just normal selling of PIs.. I don't believe that when trades are grouped together in rounded figures

6) I think Jace is reaching with "political reasons". I think that is a bit ludicrous.

7)'Theonlywayis' - being in a share for a long time is not a reason to hold if there are potential negatives around the corner.

You should be able to sell based on information not longevity

It appears OBD is providing the perfect template on how not to launch a seemingly highly effective and efficacious product.

They seem to jump the gun, hyping the product then rushing it out without any sales or marketing infrastructure in place anywhere.

At face value it at face value it seems they've gone out on a wing and a prayer hoping that Doctors will sign up with minimal /no marketing.

Ciz appears to be doing everything right (notwithstanding we still don't know this sensitivity/ specificity numbers).

A number of measures and contacts should up provide high access to the US market. It will be interesting to see if there is any significant stubbornness or reluctance to take up the test.

See CDT chart today ..that gap between 3.3 and 3.43 will go.

Sometimes on groundbreaking news (hopefully Ciz!) gaps don't get filled but usually do

Uptrend ..hmmm.. depends what you're looking at!

The uptrend I'm looking at is the lower channel rising diagonally from 1.6p Nov 2 hitting 1.8p on Jan 2 and now 2.1p March 9.

It could be that it's bounced upwards but I'm not sure whether that's CDT news. This is where it gets murky.

I do agree with you with that on low volume days.. a handful of trades, the candlestick changes dramatically on one trade. But I don't pay any attention to individual candles on low vol

I've done pretty well on chart patterns - at least using them for knowing when not to get in, as much as when to buy. (Not with Ciz)

You have to take them in the whole, with sentiment, news and momentum, but there are certain candlestick patterns which I found have almost always worked.

Flagpole and pennant .. just about 100%.

Abandoned baby/ morning Doji star, almost always a signal of reversal.

I think support levels do work, but you do after judge it on the share and between news.

Did very well last year on Light Science Technology with the flagpole / pennant months after fundraise.

I know these boards are rife with charlatans, ne'er-do-wells and corruptors , amongst the savvy , intelligent, informed and humorous posters.

But I do wonder why it's so important to "call out" suspicions about anonymous posts if they're doing no harm and may even be adding to the discussion.

It smacks a little of the paranoic fervour around the Salem Witchhunts/McCarthyism.

If someone is becoming such an irritant (like XYZ) then he will be banned (I'm guessing)..

But, for example, there were other accusations about another user, FastFood.. but when I settled down (after being thrown by some of the comments) and looked at his posting history, I must say that I didn't see anything but reasonable comments on Ciz.

I've still got a feeling the MMS are walking this down to 1.8p (I'm neutral about that because I'll buy some more)

Not sure how they will deal with this, because they will need shares before news. I'm sure they've got pocketfulls already ready for RNS.

Each incremental step downwards seems to spark more buying, so not sure how the MMS are going to play this.

I've been buying quite regularly BTW, but for those sniffing a mega bargain* it's possible 1.8p will be tested.
