FAO Neil - my interest was piqued by a final comment you made in your last lengthy message.

When you said that you expect news in the not too distant - "followed by an interview with Allan" - and newsflow thereafter, I just wondered what made you throw in the comment about the interview with AS..

It was so specific, and I thought a little unusual in context, that I figured that you've talked to the company quite recently?

And when you mentioned an interview with Alan do you just mean on something like Pro-active etc ?

I must confess to being a bit of a dilettante and lacking diligence with personal communication research regarding CIZ compared to other heavy Investments I've had in the past.

Usually I get a feel for things over months/ year and drip feed investment, after talking to CEO and the major investors (if I can)

With this I felt like I came to the party a bit late and have relied on the knowledgeable posts on here, which have been fantastic, but I've never got a feel for the personnel involved with the company other than videos.

I'm sure those who have talked to AS et Al, will have gleaned things from tone of voice and reading between the lines, maybe a gentle nudge and wink here and there. Maybe some have even called Corepath/Biotechne.

So I'll have only my lazy self to blame if this goes belly up. The technical research on here by several posters has been truly second to none.

The infamous 1 trade has long been dismissed I think.. thinking the old days before algorithms they used them.

Maybe sometimes they still do ..I don't know.

I think some traders use some of these "signals" to try and dupe other investors into buying or selling

Brondby.. Green hammer ending today ..a bit more decisive than a Doji.

I put in a cheeky limit order at 2.15p today while out. Price touched it for a few minutes but the order didn't go through..bought later at 2.24p.

Hammer candlestick usually decent indicator of the bottom of a downtrend, but as others have mentioned, it's really quite irrelevant in the scheme of things (apart from the psychological feeling of getting a " bargain".)

I would be quite shocked and surprised if it was as low as 75%.

I'm expecting to see 90% or above

I do think a sensitivity as low as 75% would be disappointing.

I think there's a certain lack of the dynamicism of the real world and other world with this.

In the infamous words of ex US defence secretary, there are many unknown unknowns out there.

There are many companies out there chasing this that we know about - and I'm certain there will be many other private companies that we don't know about.

While 75% may be a market leader for a while I believe this would be relatively quickly superseded.

And if we are a one trick pony (as we are at the moment with other things up our sleeves) I think this test in particular needs to set a benchmark in standards.

At first I was a bit skeptical, but as time goes on I'm afraid XYZ investing is showing all the hallmarks of being the Hitman! (And his 12 alter-egos)..

Just while it's a quiet day I'd like to say how much I enjoy reading this board.

That Dragonfly sounds very exotic...I'm not sure. I can see it on one chart yesterday, but today's Trading View not showing that.

It's quite a weak pattern anyway and can't really spot anything scintillating at the moment.

It's still in the slight upward channel we'll know for sure within a couple of days or so, when a bounce to 2.8/2.9p is on or support down to 2 ish.

Ps I thought the same as you and other posters with the Tweet.. "Simple to use = LFT"..although I suppose it could relate to lab test, and may just be statement of intent to keep the pot boiling.

Cizzle in China will be eaten alive. Ciz +Biotechne in China has a better ring to it.

I like the fact that immunoassays and antibodies + mechanics of test are all brought to China, and supply is in our (Biotechne) control.

China loves nicking IPs and reverse engineering .

With commodities things are stolen more easily, so we have more control in this domain.

Ps Brondby 2.2p, maybe 2.15p and it's a bounce higher to 2.8p or back to 1.8-2p.

All meaningless now really, unless anyone wants to snaffle a few cheap ones.

All eyes now on the sensitivity/specificity results and possible tie up with Biotechne.

I've managed to basically remove most of them with Adblockers..

But there's one particularly persistent video that just keeps coming up every time and no Ad blocker stops it.

China: I have major misgivings about China (won't labour a point) but almost every collaboration I've seen on the stock market over the years has gone pear- shaped - and I've seen numerous.

This doesn't mean that our deal will go the same way but I'm completely discounting China (anything positive will be a bonus)

So , Vincent, I've been thinking the same about AS ad reporting back from China. He has publicly said he would do this on at least one occasion and failed to .

That has a two-pronged effect with me

1) is AS ad good as his word? (Traversing other topics)

2) is there something wrong with the Chinese deal?

Not making an assertion, just a comment.

I really do think these are false comparisons ..

Despite Galleri' s poor performance, I think it had some powerful vocal backers .plus it being a multi-cancer test)..

I think it was being looked at as the possible Holy Grail of cancer tests - results indicating quite wrongly.

But as we've discussed before, I think some posters I've got carried away with themselves about the value of Ciz.

I'm not playing this down because in my book it has the potential to be 20p to 40p ish. (If so successful it will be taken out before the ££s come)

To me this would be a massive positive, and it is beyond me how some see these type of figures as being disappointing.

I've just been driving through the breathtaking countryside of The Snake Pass in Derbyshire, giddy with excitement.

I do wonder if some people would be disappointed by that.

But as Brondby says - unless anyone here knows different - our test could be 95% or even higher.

Then the specificy could be ok at circa 80%...

But sensitivity below that and I think we'll have big sales problems .

Yes I get that and I understand the difference between sensitivity and specificity.

But I think you're both being a bit naive here.

Having already informed the market that we are at 95%, anything significantly below this will be seen as somewhat of a fail - and comparing it to a poor Galleri test is not a valid comparator.

When Corepath (or Biotechne) are trying to tout this around en Masse for the figures that you are looking at, 75% will not cut the mustard

Jace... If we are at only 75% sensitivity the market would not like that at all.

That would be extremely poor after touting 95% previously.

Imo , you could look at the fire barrier acquisition in two ways.

When I had a look on Companies House, they appeared to o a lot of money due within one year.

So the cynic in me was saying LST acquired it now so they can raise on the market.

The flipside is that it is cash producing.

Balancing those two things and the cash position I decided to err on the side of caution.

Happy to be proved wrong for you on the fundraiser.

As you know I was in LST last year and there was excellent growth from the 1p fundraiser to circa 3.3p .

Technically, it hit a massive stumbling block when the huge gap in the chart was filled at that point.

I think the problem is twofold

1) The new management strategy is appearing to pay dividends - and, although impressive is still very piece meal and nothing juicy for the market to get it's hands on. At some point it probably will produce a re-rate.

2) with only £600K in the bank last November and still loss-making, I think another fundraise is inevitable.

Market waiting for that.

Only my opinions because I do like this company but not sure when it is going to gain huge traction
