Imo , avoiding dilution now by selling CDT shares is the canny way to do things..

(Ps CDT technicals... I think it had already breached the lower track support when you said it was an uptrend and I commented on that at the time..

Well I'm happy to have a little technical joust with you , Bron! ..as I think you come across as a really decent bloke.

Now, you got the technicals wrong on CDT when you thought it was in an uptrend. It broke the support and look where it is now.

Ciz, these technicals aren't so applicable because it's waiting on news.

But the support of 2.38 is sort of holding...next is 2.2p.

The Golden Cross that some people were waiting for did not follow the downtrend and subsequent level of stability, and had no volume increase , so was invalid.

Ciz does appear to be in a weak uptrend, but I say "weak" because it will be played around with by MMs depending how many shares they want to sell/buy.

PIs /technicals are not driving the price at the moment...

It's like a car going downhill in gear, the wheels are driving the engine, rather than the engine driving the wheels.

I don't really think technicals apply at the moment - only in a very limited way.

I doubt there will be any significant move north before material news, Bron.

Personally think the next RNS may be a small fundraiser.

These micro patterns of share trades do interest me ..

It's been a typical layout to the day ..

A series of rounded sells back-to-back in the morning, followed by a similar buying reaction in the afternoon.

The sells still feel a tad automated to me.

Small volumes though.

Ok, still confused! So at the moment I understand that we have an agreement with Corepath to develop and distribute the test in 22States for 15%.

Portugese-based Fair biologics provide mAbs etc

Biotechne provide Best Western platform for mechanism of the test.

So, how would we then have a new deal with Biotechne if there is already a 15% distribution deal in place with Corepath? (Wouldn't that then supersede that deal or are you talking about an attendant deal/new deal involving future developments?

When you talk about a commercial agreement and/or partnership with Biotechne, I thought we already had a contract for development and supply at 15% revenue?

Well that comment pre-supposes they have no negative information.

But, if it is just a pure PI trade - and the non-rounded figures do suggest this - then my best guess would be that some traders expected some major price action on the Golden Cross, and have given up on it.

'true' Golden Cross has a marked increase in volume leading up to it, this doesn't.

It's equal and opposite to the Death Cross on July 24 lady year - nothing happened.

Maybe the MMS will force-feed a rise on the back of it to PIs but I think it will be short lived.

Even if it does go up on the back of GC, it is pointless in the general scheme of things because without news it will just fall back down.

Although I'm sure a few traders will be lining up for a few quid.

It's an interesting question, but a question that could be put to PR companies across the land, thus saving billions in "pointless" PR.

I don't know, I suppose it subconsciously keeps the name of the company and ethos in the public mind, while showing they are part of the health community and fight against lung cancer.

What that actually does in material terms is an unknown.

(Or maybe , like in the Watergate scandal, they are putting out Tweets as secret indicators of timelines and news ;o) back to then it was the ads column in the Washington Post)

To be fair to Ciz , OAPk, they can't really tweet anything of "substance" without RNS-ing it.

Maybe I'm reading this with different eyes, but it seems to me they are keeping the pot boiling before any ground-breaking news by hinting that the Ciz test covers ALL types of lung cancers - and that they now know the test works.

I saw the tweet as being positive but then I have my own internal biases when reading.

RKH - I've just been looking back at the share graph and I must have got false memory.

I remember the day they struck oil but thought it went from 5p to 50p in short order ..or 50p to £5 overnight.

Seems that didn't quite happen so quickly... so I can't quite remember events in order..

I thought the duster happened after this...wibble ...it's all a blur

In fact, a salient and sobering lesson in share dealing came from a Biotech company called Evgen Pharma.

It became my biggest loss ever after I got carried away with the hype.

They were doing clinical trials for turning Sulforaphanes (from broccoli) into a potent anti-cancer drug.

I managed to get "expert" opinion from three independent people quite high up (and very experienced) in the Biotech industry.

They were invested too and predicted a full or mitigated success, based on the science as they knew it.

It was a total failure and share price disaster. Ouch

I remember the day when it nearly 10-bagged overnight before that.

On the back of that there were a few in the Falklands...
