The reason for the drop in share price is simply the lack of trading ahead of news. MMs very happy to drop the price on slow trading. Once the news is out, which can only be a matter of time, this will recover quickly. In the meantime I'm happy to wait and hope to catch the bottom to top up... All profit for me here which is unusual, so very happy to be patient. Deals take time to negotiate and I suspect here (opinion) it will be a complex one to share in future upside.

Behave Blue. The company will have done market research on the need for StoneChecker before they invested time and money developing it. Companies often license out non-core products and most likely is that during the course of development the Company has refined the markets it wants to target. StoneChecker is an outlier in terms of the markets it wants to focus on so they are looking to partner or sell it. These things take time to do correctly and as a main listed business it has do be done with proper due diligence.

Agree with the positive position and this has plenty of movement now to make gains. A good opportunity to bring ones average down.

Agree, really odd as Genedrive not typical in terms of trading dynamics. You’d have to say if it were a real short you’d have to have good knowledge of what was around the corner. Very odd. I’m just speculating here obviously to try and understand it. If you did know something then clearly a good way to maximise an investment perhaps, either way?? Why would they invest here on their own, must be on behalf of someone surely. Intriguing.

The large trades are encouraging, people adding to their position. This should recover quickly with positive announcements that are due. Plus that trade sale has got to be on the cards :)

‘Way’ oversold

Wet oversold and undervalued now. Looking forward to the journey upwards from here. As mentioned before, could represent a takeover target now.

Maybe the kick up the proverbial the share needed to get trading kickstarted again? A long way to recover but in my opinion it was undervalued before yesterdays RNS and things still lined up. Hope to see an RNS on the large 4m seller/buyer yesterday...

We should see an RNS for those large trades, will be interesting to see who has picked them up. I’m guessing the single day drop triggered the requirement to dispose and it’s one of the institutional investors? Thoughts anyone? Nice to see an active discussion board!

This must now be on the radar for takeover. The business has a great product but management is not converting it into commercial success, most likely due to funding and balance sheet. I’m sure at this market cap suitors will be lining up...

Agree. At £4m market cap it’s an interesting position for the business. I’m not sure what the development costs have been but surely more than the current market cap.

That said the MMs just trash the price based on no volume compared to much larger trades last week. Scandalous in my opinion that the share price can halve on such a low amount of trading. Thoughts?

Some big trades happening every now and again. Bearing in mind this share is not traded in significant volume this is interesting. £16k, £12k..... I hope we see some real commercial traction here. It has the elements and is below the target price by some margin. These new outbreaks show the potential for this type of product in the market. There are few if no other POC molecular PCR devices out there with regulatory approvals in place. Fingers crossed...
