Hi Blue, we have both bet already :) - you sold your stake, I've bought a reasonable chunk and have held over 12 months. I bet on the business being with significantly more than its current £7m market cap. £750k would not be worth the lawyers fees.

The valuation would be an interesting calculation and they are spot on trying to sell the product to someone now rather than in a few years time when there is an associated revenue with it. If they sell now they can amortise the costs and time into the value, along with the value of being able to sell it in the US market with its FDA badge. What that is will be interesting to find out but its going to be be north of $10m in my opinion and my guess is up to $50m. It's a guess... If they wait for sales then its value could be 5x sales revenue so would be less if they tried to sell in 12-24 months time. Now is a prime time to sell and probably why they are going down that route. All opinion.

Clearly SC has value and a proposed trade sale shows that, it will provide value back to the business and shareholders as the runs states. How much? Time will tell. Certainly what people wrote on here will have no bearing on what a business will pay, thank goodness! My guess somewhere between $10m-$50m, it is a guess...

It’s a fair question. My thoughts are that if they are talking to a partner that wants exclusivity then it makes sense to consider sale (or partnership) which is what they’ve said.

Some relatively large trades popping up which is nice to see. I guess we are waiting for announcements on first sales and possibly commercial partners outside of the NHS?

My view is this is currently significantly undervalued and probably should be around 50p. What’s everyone’s view? The AIHL test is worth £3m pa in the U.K. alone so world wide a multiple of that. HCV and TB significant opportunities too. The current market cap is below the target.

this test represents real patient benefits and NHS savings in the long term, great to see a British product being adopted in the NHS. Now the company can start growing its commercialisation and recover its market cap to where it deserves to be. The first POC molecular diagnostics platform to market, great innovation, worth shouting about!

I think a number of things transpired against the Company. First I think the Reabold decision to raise a lot and take control of the direction of the development may have come as a surprise and required a rethink about strategy. That altered the options for UJO and whilst they initially thought they were fully funded it materially changed the playing field. The second issue was others selling into the new paradigm forcing the share price down. Again that limited options. I think we now have a good foundation on which to move and should over the next 6-12 months see significant rises. Of course day traders and shareholders looking to make a quick profit won't be so lucky. But those are the exact shareholders that make AIM such a pain to invest in imo. Great announcement, the company can now invest in its portfolio and realise the potential. A shame about the issues over the last few weeks, I suspect this could have been done at 0.2p, but its done and we should all move on and support the positive placement

Hopefully news will include some kind of strategic partnership and MOQs that can be used to predict market cap a little better. Definitely a business to hold shares in, if you want to be invested in AI medical imaging there are very few around. Longer term it must represent a takeover target by one of the large players. If each suite of software costs $100k it dissent take long before you get to a much larger market cap... maybe 12, 18 or 24 months, but it will go up in value if the company delivers its product to market.

this should pick back up to the last placing price of 9p relatively easily and then upwards into double figures depending on the scope of the imminent news. I think there is definitely a strategic partnership on the cards which should have a defined value attached to it, minimum order quantities, etc. Looking good

some buying pressure, certainly a lot of good news recently and a stronger commercial position now with several tests starting to enter the market. I think it represents a strong target for one of the larger diagnostic companies to sweep in and pick it up cheap now all the development risk is out of the business. Can't be long in my opinion and the LTHs support can be rewarded!

It wouldn’t necessarily need FDA approval for the US DOD to use it, if the army needs it they’ll use it regardless of approval or not. The DOD does represent a clinical trial opportunity though which could then be used as part of an FDA submission. So in that respect it could subsidise the trial costs which is interesting.

And the issue is oil is used for all sorts of organic chemical production, not just fuels, everything from plastics to key components in the synthesis of material fabrics to medicines. Oil is essential to modern life and isn’t the pariah some make it out to be.

Great summary report issued today, hopefully we will see the share price get to where it should be and reflect a suitable market cap. Once sales are announced this should move upwards fast...
