presumably genedrive could be used for Coronavirus detection If they know the sequence of the virus. It seems to be an RNA virus like HCV so the basics should be the same, just target different sequences.... we know genedrive works at POC so doesn’t need labs and the US DOD are using it For biothreat testing out in the field... somebody wake up...

The whole pharmacogenomic testing market is set to explode, Genedrive should be in a good position to capitalise. The independent article hopefully should point new shareholders in our direction.

There is a paucity of new antibiotics and as you say it passed P3. It may well have side effects that were not suitable for the market it was going for, but it was effective and this will be useful in some circumstances. AMR is a huge emerging problem and will be amongst the biggest killer in coming years. I am sure there will be a buyer out there but what value is anyones guess. More likely a candidate to reverse into to have an AIM listing and then turned over to a buyer waiting in the wings. Is that too cynical?

I have never gone back to a BB for a share I no longer hold and bad mouth the business, let alone one that I have made a profit from. you don't seem to post about any other share which is odd, and you only seem to comment when the share is down. Yes I agree, CE and FDA is in process but not yet granted.

It’s all about building a strong suite of AI enabled imaging tools and this looks to be a great addition. It makes me think that someone must have made an offer for stone checker and the reason for initiating an information memorandum and putting it to a wider audience is to gauge the value of the offer otherwise I’m sure they’d have kept the product in their portfolio. Really positive product building going on here and only positive for the business imo.

Blimey Blue you are right, what if these industry proven directors can't sell an FDA approved AI software product into an established market need? That would be really dismal!

Hopefully an opportunity for the MMs to correctly value the business and the opportunity. We do need an update of the HCV salvia their partner Sysmex, linked to the WHO pre-qualification. A nice statement on commercialisation of the AIHL assay outside of the NHS into the EU would be nice to see too. What's the plan for 2020 with 2x CE IVD tests now ready for market... It seems perhaps we need more partners as Genedrive would not be B2C, that's another source of news that's lacking somewhat... I feel we are at last at a turning point and news flow this year can only be positive.

Dan, the price will be based on the value the new software delivers to the acquiring company. I think hidden in all of the announcements was the potential for a trade sale of the software and I have mentioned this several times so it wasn't a complete surprise that this was an option. The business is not a sales business and was always driven by partnering. Let's see where it goes in terms of valuation. My guess is that it's better placed exclusively with a supplier of a specific piece of equipment and that's where it will go rather than being sold as an independent piece of software but that's only my opinion... We are all trying to second guess based on the information we have in hand. The whole AI sector in medical diagnostics is definitely a growth industry and only a few businesses out there you can invest in at the start of their growth, this being one. In my opinion its one to buy and tuck away and forget the day trading...

From what I see blue only comments on this share and no others and only on days there is a fall, when there is a rise in share price he generally doesn’t make comment.

At £5k an install £750k would equate to sales of just 150 units. It's simply not tenable to predict a sale at £750k considering the potential number of installs world wide. I'm not sure how blue is getting to that figure...

Yes I agree, its one of the pharmacogenetics tests that has real immediate value and that needs a POC system. There are others around codine metabolism which would be a suitable follow up. 2020 should be really exciting and I'm happy to be invested here. As sales come in and partners announced the share price should get to the brokers recommendation of 60p and beyond.
