Giz, I agree that the government want to go to trial . I see it as a similar situation I witnessed in a large ftse 100 company where my boss thought a trial was the best career option for him as he could move on in the meanwhile even though it was obvious we were certain to lose. He managed to do so and , of course we did lose and it cost us double the amount we could have settled for.

Not sure where house prices will go because they are already unaffordable for most ypung people but clearly the huge immigration over the last two years is pushing up demand. Although nobody has ever proved this point, to my knowledge, broker recommendations seem to run on some sort of rota where x says sell causing a sp fall only for y to later say buy causing the sp to rise. If investors knew in advance what had been planned they could make a lot of money. Now which bank is about the richest in the world?

Roy, I think the cash flow looks good. I have no idea why the guidance was not included but guess it got complicated and they pulled it. At 930 today they are presenting and answering questions when that point will surely be raised and more revealed. Expecting a bounce later today. We shall see - have bought a total of £9k today so burnt fingers crossed.

Another Bloomberg analyst, charles capel said the results were good but the lack of forward guidance has caused the 6% drop. Imv that is ridiculous because the results will be what they will be. Clearly the company will brief the petulant analysts and a re rate will follow in the next few days. Time to buy more imv.

Just bought a further £3k. Will buy big time if they fall to around £5 but am not expecting that.

I heard on bloomberg that the drop is a result of the guidance - the reporter said something like ' not enough information' - did'nt quite catch the full words. In any event , should the drop continue I shall buy more.
