Bought £3k this am and am puzzled at the drop. Looks like a great growing business imv and the euros should help it push on this summer.

RNS indicates great results imv and sp should climb over next few days imv.

Starmer says re newable energy is cheaper - well that is a lie , moreover as we know 75% tax on north sea is making it worse. However what nobody can do is duplicate the entire electricty network in the next ten years becase we dont have the labour - it took over 100 years to build in the first place. Of course we dont have have the money and the cable isnt available. The good news is Professor Dieter Helm of Oxford Uni also says it cant be done.

Anyone else watching the itv debate? Starmer is actually talking to the individuals and Sunak is on transmit , however he has landed a few good blows on Starmer on tax. They look like a couple of squabbling 6th formers in a school debate. God help us.

The problem we have is that 4 external forces are making us significantly poorer and this is driving people to look for a change from Sunak to something better. The factors, in order of impact are; the drive for net zero pushing up our costs and destroying our industries, the debt racked up during covid pushing up taxes through interest payments, the additional costs of doing business with eu and the ukraine war pushing up energy and food costs. The issues over which we have total cointrol, i.e net migration is entirely down to him although the OBR economic model incents the chancellor to push up the population so as to allow for consequential higher tax revenues whensetting the budget. It is a total mess and it is certain that labour cant arrest our continuing decline imv.
