I have been a shareholder here since flotation and the business has grown astronomically and funded that expansion through retention of funds, with only very small amounts of cash paid out through divis. The expansion continues and the 'value' of the company will rise by far more than any return through divis imv and so I am very happy with that. In fact i think the sp should be double current levels. We shall see what happens.

And today investors learn that after 4 months they have found the necesarry kit.Not bad really , it did take 6 years for Carter to find Tutankhamun's tomb , and these perforating guns must be also have been buried under the sands for thousands of years. So don;t complain investors , celebrate that great achievement, indeed award the board with more cash for a job well done.

I have just compared our half year with that of next and by every measure we have outperformed, double the growth, much larger increase in divi ... the list goes on. However the market valuse next at 30% more than JD , whereas it should be the other way round given this years profit forecast and 5 yer growth plans, The sp of JD should double - lets hope it starts today.

The most hilarious thing about the CPI figure is that it is 0.4% below the figure that the bank of england was forecasting only yesterday. FFS what use is their model and all the millions they spend collecting and processing the data for their model? Almost anyone could have forecast closer by just thinking through the costs they have experienced over the last month. Someone should be sacked.

Think the shares have been marked down in the end of season sale!

Garonne, I was listening to Poweel and nothing controversail was said in the first half hour or so , so I switched off BUT in the last 30 mins the dow has taken a dive[ ditto our futures], so what has he said?

I think that they have put the company in play and are saying to any suitor, you have our backing.[ They have mine too but not sure that counts for much]

Romaron, great posts. I for one do not believe the net zero quest will be met. IMV we shall see more evidence in msm that climate change is a natural phenomena that is only mildy influenced by carbon and we can scale back our ambitions and that evidence will be promoted once the electricity system starts failing in multiple locations as the burden of heat pumps and car chargers grows. Nobody is talking about the investments , work force and materials required at the tiers below the national grid network and even there the nick winsor report got little traction it seems. Time will tell and I hope people see sense soon.

Savage, the other issue wrt interest rates is the competition of bonds and deposits to equity. Investors can get 5.25% instant acces risk free and can get around 6% with a term deposit meaning the sp of companies will be depressed so as to provide a competative divi return. Am expecting £5.50 here at best in next month or so , unfortunately.

Gate, I remain concerned that baliey and his team are way too slow in reacting and are dmaging the economy, what we needed last year was frim 1% rises taking us speedily to taodays level and had they done so inflation would be lower and falling more quickly. Now we need anothe 0.5% increase and we will need to hold for another 6 months because inflation is now ingrained. So they have damaged the economy needlessly imv causing higher for longer in UK.

Krafty, I am a lth here and have not changed my position over the last 6 months so no regrets either way, I am just sick and tired of the shenanigans on the AIM market and imv yesterday was a clear demonstration that some people knew in advance what was in the RNS released today.
