Sebo, I think the mistake our ceo has made is to prioritise the labs ahead of sales and not take on board the need for larger trial data . However , assuming what has been said about other products and interest the company has a great future even without PSE imv.
I thought I would do something positive and have written to investor relations - copy below [ If I was on social media I would have made the media contacts mysalf].
Hi, It seems to me that raising awareness of the availability of the PSE test and its accuracy amongst the wider UK population will increase demand and I would suggest that the time is ripe [ King Charles hospitalisation] for a wide ranging media campaign that can be initiated through social media , in the first instance by a junior member of staff. The media contacts I would suggest , based on their demographic and interest in medical matters are;BBC - Charlie Stayt and Naga Munchetty[ close colleagues of the late Bill Turnbull who died of Prostate cancer]Talk TV - Dr David Bull and DR Renee Hoenderkamp both medical doctors and TV presentersGB News - Nigel Farage -influencer and supporter of UK business
Another feature of his style is that he outlines very well what needs to be done but very little about what he is doing. I wanted to hear ' I have met with this professor or presented to that oncology committe' he is too hands off imv.
The first thing he says 'just spent a week with JPMorgan - that must be about financing- so something is in train imv.
Later he waffles around sales targets and frankly he is weak here. His newly appointed sales managers should be outlining their plans and numbers - financiers will want these for sure.
Otherwise impressive pipeline of opportunities here.
People have suggested that we need a partner and my question is, do we really think a partner will overcome the reluctance of medics to order the test on behalf of their patients? Do we need the medical equivalent of trade advertorials or attendence at conferences or is the problem that there is awareness but we don't have the data to instill confidence in relying on the tests? Genuine questions and welcome views.
Viking, GGP are part owners of a mine that will be producing gold in the not too distant future- look at the RNS statements for more info. They also have some exploration ongoing with partners and on their own. Potentially the sp could reach 50p within a year imv but dyor.
Is the best test in the world with a market of billions of men , most of whom will get prostate symptoms in later life and want reassurance and the share price is tanking FFS.
The MM's must be loving the doom and gloom on here - lots of people will selll, they will load up ready for the next positive RNS and they will sell at a huge profit. Time to add/hold imv.
Maddog, why would gas rates slow in cold weather? Gas is denser in the cold so a given volume , at the same pressure , but lower temperature would contain more energy but that is all at the margin.
Retirement - just don't do it - the market can turn on a sixpence. JD sports is a prime example- great growth over the years, more pencilled in for the future but because this years profits will be only £925m , instead of the forecast £1bn the shares are down 30% in a couple of weeks. They have fallen by 50% from their peak and they re hugely undervalued by any metric. It makes no sense but RR could suffer the same fate [again] just because of one set of bad numbers and you would be feeling sick. Btw I have held RR since flotation.

A big company like Abbott may have a pop at this soon given the science. The bod do need to fear for their jobs because they clearly have misunderstood the way to market the products or maybe the new sales guy needs more time?
