In a decent FTSE 100 company is my view - JD Sports are trading at half their peak and making £925m profit but if people want to stick with aim then take a look at MSI - cash rich -selling defence equipment to USA- growing and same management team in place for over 30 years.DYOR and GLA.

The real problem the UK [ and most eurpoean countries] is that we built on wealth and lifestyle on cheap energy and that era is being drawn to a close which means we have to accpet a lower standard of living. Our collective response is to blame the government , who got us into this mess and vote for an alternative party who frankly will only speed our demise. At some stage there will either be civil unrest [ it seems to be starting with european farmers] or we will collectively decide that climate change is actually after all mostly out of our hands so we can reduce our adoption of unaffordable and in many cases impractical green technologies. Interesting few years ahead.

Sp climbing steadily over last few days- the narket knows a deal is on its way imv.

Third of mcap covered by cash - so sp looks too low to me.

Was hoping for a decent uplift in sp. This has to be a target for a USA company just now.

I first invested here about 10 years ago and last invested here about 5 years ago because I came to the conclusion that if 201 was of value to anyone[ except those drawing a salary because of its existence ]one of the many large pharmas would have bought it by then. I also concluded nobody says to investors - 'you know what we are wasting our time and your money here, so lets shut this down and we will look for a new job'. GLA and I really do hope something comes of this for the patients and patient.

Fordy it says here are 200 pages explaining everything is at your risk if you are foolish enough to invest in any shares in this company when we issue them at some time in the future. In fact there is more risk here than an air bnb in gaza but its ok for us as we have issued a disclaimer. Please do not bring any copies of this prospectus with you on your next cruise as we have had 2 of our liners sink under their weight and so for now it would be better if you stay in the pub.

Alessandro, I think the sp could recover sooner but I have come to the realisation that the big investors want us private investors to sell up so that they can accumulate in advance of the next news/catalyst as they anticipate it will be better/good and they can sell us back our shreas for a profit. I realise this may sound conspiratorial but that seems to happen everywhere these days they milk us for their profits. [ Just now they seem to be selling RR when it gets close to 309 , no doubt shares they bought at 109 or less].

So a traveller says their hand luggage wont fit inside the device that checks size because it is too big and the wheels gets stuck and they want a refund FFS. I paid extra in that situation and so would any other reasonable person. Frankly, decent controls need to be in place for hand lugagge because there are safety issues with too many oversized bags in cabins imv on some carriers.

Which leads me to ask, Nutmeg, when you were on your last easyjet flight did someone who was removing their bag from the luggage rack drop it on your head?

Sp has gone nowhere for months now and that is a surprise given the improving picture here. Lets hope the analysts buy something at smiths!

What is becoming clear to me is that Burrows has not spent his time and energy on the UK trial [ even then basics of memorising what it is about] because he has been focussing on his other commitments. Frankly that is just not good enough . No wonder the body language of the others at the presntation appeared so negative. I would hate to work alongside him - zero leadership.

As for any social media - no interest obviously and to that point yet another BBC presenter is talking about his cancer and the need fro prostate testing today.

Dug, that is awful info . As I have had no response yet from IR , I am now thinking that an email should be sent to the chairman asking why and also asking about the 'part timers' commitment to driving success here given the business needs. What do you think ?
