I see a couple of nice £24k buys today at and just below 1.8.
Gold seems to have consolidated around the $1780-1785 range.

Sitting and waiting for CresWick drilling timeline, next Baillieston results & potential new license news.

POW takes us full circle to Directors you wouldn't trust or invest in.
PJ spread ECR too thin over too many territories and nearly ran the company out of existence with his scattergun acquisitions and endless fundraising.
I wouldn't go anywhere near any company the snake oil salesman is involved in.

Paul, With that list you sound like a Doc Holiday disciple.

Selling or buying decisions do not depend on if you are in profit or loss, it should be dependent only on what you believe the future holds for ECR.

If you believe that the company still has potential (as I do) then top up or stay a holder.
If you believe that the SP will tumble then sell and invest elsewhere (or decide AIM is not for you and take the cash)

Do you believe the company has a bright future?...That's the big question

JTB, Absolutely not telling anyone how to invest....I am in no way qualified or egotistical enough to assume I have that power.
At the end of the day we are all the idiots that make our own decisions/mistakes/successes :-)

Just a personal opinion that I would not entrust my hard earned cash to any person/company that I did not believe in.
I'm sure your strategy of trading down on ECR is the correct one for you and hope it works out.

Meanwhile in ECR I trust so I am going nowhere (and actually recently topped up).

I still trust CB...if you don't trust him and you are still invested then you are foolish so you should sell up and move on.
I would never invest in a company whose director I did not trust.
Personally I like the fact that CB has stood up in an interview and admitted that the placing was a mistake...shows some integrity in my book.
The placing I think also delayed the release of the initial drilling results as it was not a co-incidence that they were release only a day or two apart.
Some larger investors are obviously still confident in ECR and were very happy to invest £2m between them at 2.2 pence.
The licensing clarity that was holding up JV progression at Creswick is still there and we won't see much progress until those licenses are granted which could take a while or could come at any time.
In the mean time I would assume that the drilling programme serves a double purpose as it is probably a condition of the license renewal at Creswick that the company demonstrates it is still active and also by proving up more resource it will enable us to be in a stronger negotiating position.
So I'm still trusting CB and still have a belief in the company as the fundamentals have not changed and with c£6m in the bank we are exceptionally well funded to push forward quickly towards proving the resource at both main licenses (and maybe even an initial campaign at Tambo).

Judging by the cheeky little 2m buy this morning someone does ;-)

AG, Blue Moon is definitely the most exciting prospect in the Baillieston license. I think CB would have preferred to have started the drilling programme there first , but drilling permits were not immediately available for that area of the license so HR3 got first billing.
A couple of good/confirmation results at Creswick will soon get the SP on track again and should speed up the JV wheels....new licenses will have the same effect.

JV talks are still ongoing with multiple parties (sounds like it's just waiting for licenses to be sorted)

Happy to sit and watch this play out nicely....and had a cheeky little 300k share top up on Friday as can see plenty of upside from these levels.

Yes, Need to take in to account that the initial drilling was around the periphery of the resource to understand the boundaries so unspectacular results are not a bad thing.
Quite a few people (and I'll admit I was one) got excited with the visible gold and that may have set expectations too high for instant success.
The drilling is part of the process and as we understand the structure of the resource more the drilling results should improve , with the odd lower results as we again test the perimeter of each new drilling area.
Getting a drill in Creswick is excellent news and the more we prove that up prior to a JV agreement, the better our hand is in negotiations.

Gabrin, You are correct about Blue Moon and the drilling permits...that's the only reason HR3 & HR4 are first in the queue

Added another 300k shares just now....plenty of upside to come here over the coming months.

Don't be too sorry for LTHs...my average is 1p so still up nicely. Also sold my 'trading' pot on this share @2.12 and looking to buy back in if we drop sum 1.6 although I think we are currently oversold.

A couple of things that have not been highlighted from the interview:
- Discussions are still ongoing with 'a couple' of interested parties on the JV....so still multiple interests.
- The New Creswick - EL006713 license issue has been resolved....I would take that as the license has been granted.

Also I'll just point out that the placing was done at a 40% premium to today's SP ….if he announced that today we would all be praising him for a great fund raise.

TKIA...£300k even at todays low price....would certainly get my attention.
As they have been in negotiations for JV for a while I would think that he is unable to buy any more in a closed period.
