Not many trades this morning, but the ones we have seem to be quite chunky in size.

Bitcoin continuing it's slide, inflation and national debt mot going to improve any time soon....gold is the place to be!

AG & JTB, Just read through the chat from last night..... Some good balanced points and an excellent discussion.

JTB, It was just a general comment ... you didn't even come in to my thinking

JTB in the post you pointed out your 'expert' says:

...I'm sure Kirkland and a large number of other gold producers in Victoria would disagree with that.

Also worth noting that the ECR SP was 0.675 when he made that statement...so he may have been well advised to have invested in ECR at the time.

And you can see from some of the portfolios and cross ramps (...sorry, helpful tips) that there are a few Twitter disciples on this BB.

You know it's a P&D when Docholiday and all the other Twitter 'experts' start tipping the same share (they do co-ordinate).
ECR is not on the radar there so just a regular update from AG on Stockbox that everyone is reading too much in to as usual.

potnak, That's because the vaccine is not 100% effective, however it does also impact the severity of the virus.
Herd immunity will be achieved when enough of the population is vaccinated, it's just that there are differing opinions of when that tipping point will be.

I agree Suthy, Sentiment will return here very quickly on good drilling results and on anticipation of results.
Looking forward to seeing what the 'central anticline' brings us at Baillieston. The first 6 holes I believe were to define if this hypothesis was correct and therefore we were exploring the margins and getting the less than impressive results.
Hopefully now we have drilled the centre of the anticline we will get something more substantial.

CresWick drilling well away from the original drilling site will be a big SP mover if we get good results as that would indicate a decent resource along the 7km of the DMS.
Just need to wait for those results to come in ...and maybe get the bonus of progress on the applied for licenses.
I'm really positive for the next few months on ECR.

With cruises being pushed back further you can n fully expect another fund raise here.
The Indian variant and the Asian continent issues with the virus are going to make staffing the ships very problematic once sailing recommence unless the situation improves considerably. Having to employ European workers would increase the wage bill considerably.

So they decided to drill and extra 2 in the anticline area...hopefully that is a good sign there is decent mineralisation there.

F2S , You are absolutely spot on highlighting the 2.2 km distance between the previous CresWick drilling and the new site. If we can get some decent grades in there is will indicate the DMS has a decent level of mineralisation along it and will massively increase the JV interest. We have only currently drilled 300m out of the 7km we have under license (hopefully more to be added soon) so it may be a JV is on hold as the risk appetite of a potential partner based on a mere 300m may be too much.

Now we wait for results (mining investment is one big waiting game!)

Star (and your glass half empty) it is good news for all holders averaging a penny or less though.
And I'm sure those averaging 3-4p would rather see their holding start to accumulate value back up to (and hopefully beyond ) their original buy in.

I'd rather see a daily gain than a loss.

Apologies for the rant....we had two days of non stop discussion on other shares last week and a page or two today.
If you are going to tip (ramp) another share then do it once and take the discussion on to the appropriate board is all I ask.
I don't want to come over as the BB police (never my intention) but I do find it frustrating.

If you want to discuss/ramp other shares can you set up a private chat/telegram/ WhatsApp group and stop clogging up this board with incessant ramps.
There are a couple of posters who start every day with a ramp of another share or two and probably have little/no interest in ECR.

This is an ECR board !!!...please keep to the subject or bugger off.

Also it could be a condition of the license renewal.
They cannot risk the new licenses being dragged out to near the end of the year and with no activity the main CresWick license being lost. Also showing activity on both the existing licenses would play favourably to those deciding the contested license.
Just a safety net/ insurance move to ensure the license renewal IMHO ...and if there is a significant find then there is nothing stopping CB going back to the negotiating table.
