Regarding licenses, the only license of real relevance short term is the tendered one. If ECR gets awarded that then it brings all 3 prospective CresWick partners back in play and speculation will drive up the SP.
I don't think that any JV speculation is priced in at the moment.

And what is hype about that ?.....or have you proof that these companies don't exist or have lost interest (Brisbane was only a week or two ago)?

What specifically do you believe is 'hype'

If expectations were that high we would not be at 1.9p now.
Investors on this board may be optimistic that the drilling results will be positive and this will propel the share price.
However the market is obviously hedging it's bets as the SP is stuck around the 1.8-2p range.
A few tweets with cores and drill pictures and interviews are a great improvement on the PR front , however they alone will not shift sentiment.
The drilling results and/or getting the tendered license are what will drive this share price up and down, no amount of hot air on this BB will blow the price in any direction.

Personally I am hopeful the drilling results will be good, but not counting my chickens (ECR has certainly taught me that over the past 10 years).

Does one of the new licenses extend towards Kirkland...that would shorten the distance

Looks like they were working that big trade since 10:37 this morning when the '66' trade signalled the price drop to spook some sells.

Another day nearer to results...let's hope they are positive.

JTB, With regards to the JV discussions, I don't think they are dead in the water.
We are just waiting to see if we get the tendered license....I believe CB thought that this would be processed a lot quicker than this (the other 7 have been through the process) and that is why there is no progress on the JV front for the past few months.
Once license 8 is granted /or not they the JV negotiations will continue at pace.
These will of course be influenced positively or negatively by the upcoming results of the current CresWick drilling programme.

OK, reiterates, not reconfirms the potential...if you want to be picky.....wow your glass is half empty today.
For balance it also reconfirms the potential downside if we come up with dust over the 2300km2 is 0.5p

All potential/downside is a guessing game based on the information you know and by comparing with known/similar resources/companies....if there was 'a formula' that guaranteed the future price of a company then the stock markets would close as there would never be any profit as companies would trade at that formulated guaranteed future price.

Looking forward further, 11.7p is the upside based on ECR being a junior 'explorer'.
If CB's plan comes off and ECR become a 'producer' then you are in a whole new ballpark for valuation.

And another point is that the broker note does not include the new 900km2 Queensland licenses...so the 'fair value would be nearer 7p and the upside be nearer 20p across all the licenses when granted.
Anyway, getting a little ahead of ourselves, but does re-confirm the potential here..........first lets get an RNS with some decent grades sowe can get this moving towards the upside ;-)

I take this to mean that they won't start a negotiation until they know what is in and what is out.
So if the disputed license is not granted they will negotiate the deal based on the smaller (not much smaller) footprint.
If the 8th license is granted then it's the whole larger footprint that will be negotiated.
It does not say that if the license is not granted then they are completely out.

Gino, What makes you think that they would not be interested in CresWick if we don't get the tendered license.
There is nothing to suggest that.
As I said the big boys will want to negotiate one deal...they don't want to come back to the negotiating table if the JV was on the original licenses and ECR then get the additional one.
in that case ECR would have them over a barrel...or would just say no thanks and with the finances freed up from the original JV just mine the remainder ourselves. ...the big boys are not fools and would still be interested either way...they just need clarity.

F2S, Absolutely correct.
Even if ECR don't get the tendered license (4 applicants) then Kirkland & Newmont may still be interested in doing a deal on the rest of CresWick.
They are not going to put forward a proposal if they know there is a potential for an extension of the DMS and then they would have to negotiate further for that extension.
They will want to know exactly what licenses ECR are offering deals on and want to do a 'one and done' negotiation.

Let's hope that with the recent injection of cash in to the government department that deals with licensing that the process is accelerated and we can see exactly where we stand.
In the mean time drilling continues at CresWick and if results continue to be favourable the JV price will continue to rise.

Did anyone else pick up that as well as the 'Brisbane' company we also have Newmont & Kirkland Lake still interested in a JV at CresWick...although with the two big boys it is dependent on the outcome of the tendered license.

If that license does fall to ECR then it it seriously game on at CresWick and there could be very competitive JV negotiations (who doesn't like a bidding war).

Absolutely DV, And the non-movement in SP would indicate most are heeding you advice.
However the Queensland licenses do look very good (we've had an RNS on those) and again ECR has obtained licenses in what looks like the right postcode, surrounded by producing mines.
£5.6m was a higher figure than most expected (£5m was the number frequently quoted on here).

There were various other bullish statements around licensing and drilling, but as you say, until we get an RNS.......
