mentalmax...Unfortunately with low volume days it only takes one or two large sell orders to drag the SP down .. that 767k sell has pull us down again.
On the plus side it only takes one or two similar buy orders to bounce this back up.
I've had a little top up this morning as rude not to at 1.61 ... unfortunately not one of that size :-(

Anyway not a factor until the licence is allocated , which I would hope would be in the next couple of months (that is hope and not expect as I don't know the inner workings of the licencing dept).
SP won't shift much in the meantime as warrant offloading will suppress it in the short term and only a significant interception will budge this significantly upwards.
Once the warrant shares are done I would expect us to return to the 1.8-2 range....without significant news

How exactly can you chase the big grades if you don't understand the geology ????

The SP is slipping at the moment mainly due to lower volume trading and the offloading of the warrants.

The BS call on the JV is a little harsh. CB always said that JV discussions would only progress once the license that has gone out for tender was allocated....Not his fault that the license process has dragged on for many, many months (while all the other licenses have seemed to progress quickly).
Once that license is granted I would expect talks to progress at pace.

And with all the Baillieston areas and Queensland on to of CresWick this is definitely not a one trick pony and has the flexibility with 2 self owned rigs going forward to make the most of those opportunities.

That's the key point ....We are not drilling to get bonanza gold at this point , but to understand the geological structure so we can effectively target the hotspots in future campaigns.

The fact that we are hitting gold consistently on theses pathfinder holes is a massive plus.

Not going to shift the SP a massive amount immediately , but builds the confidence I have in the resource.

Even if it is it won't effect ECR operations as mining is a key worker business and can therefore operate BAU during any lockdown

Dollar price of gold is only 0.04% down on the day.
Still $1810 so looking OK and sure it will rise in the coming weeks/months.

Remember that the POG was only bout $1600 when CB said in an interview last year that the DMS could contain up to $8BILLION of gold in the CresWick license.
Tto be honest I will be ecstatic even if he is proven to be 50% out ;-)

Agree that he new drill has been interestingly downplayed ...maybe it will get more of a fanfare when it arrives and a drilling programme is produced. (and of course the massive(???) excitement on the next naming competition.

Sitting and waiting for the next set of drilling results which must be due soon.

What's with the after 4pm RNSs this week?

Possible update in the coming months, with anything positive coming from the Philippines being an added bonus.

Would be nice to get a provisional delivery date and estimated start of use date with an amended drilling plan (I don't ask for much).

I can see this nearer 2 that 1.5 next week with the drill update, and hopefully some more drilling results.

If they do get awarded the tendered license and beat off the 3 other competing companies I can see a significant jump here.
Significantly extends the DMS lend by ECR.

I think the general consensus is that a large number of the 45m April warrants were forward sold so probably are not all yet to hit the market.

Loch, I think you are spot on, market conditions, being in the orientation stage of drilling where we are mapping the systems and unlikely to see consistent large gold grades until the orientation is completed and we identify the sweet spots along with the usual AIM investor lack of patience is not going to see this shift massively in the short term.

Only a surprise excellent drill result, the return of mining sector sentiment or the award of the tendered license will see this move upwards significantly in the short term.
Medium to long term I still believe that ECR is potentially one of (or) the best investment opportunity for gold miners in AIm.

AG, If memory serves, I believe that Midas is planning to be moved to CresWick as the contractors rig is too large for some of the the proposed drill sites.
Not sure if this will be tagged on the end of the contractor drilling or if we will have two rigs concurrently drilling at CresWick

At a similar stage to the first phase at Baillieston where we are orientation drilling.
The company are more interested at understanding the formation at this stage of drilling .
So the fact that we are hitting gold (and at decent grades ...albeit only c1m widths) is exceptionally encouraging.
Definitely a very positive stap forward, but is is only a step and there are many steps ahead in the long ECR walk.
It's certainly not going to double on these results, but is does underpin my confidence in the potential at Creswick.

Not really a loss I would worry about...one less mouth to feed.
