Sg, Deloitte will have flagged up areas to be addressed. I would imagine a lot of work has already been done...i have no clue how much more needs doing. I am inclined to use the lender waiver extension to end of june as a marker.

Bearded. Best wishes. I, like you, have confidence. Wood seems a relational business based on long term partnerships built on mutuality...thats with their clients, staff and 'relationship' banks. Clients and relationship banks seem to be holding firm, the staff side may need addressing, that may (see bob) require leadership change, or some miraculous turnround to restore confidence.

Fair enough light, and you, like me, are happy to hold having done or best to research, read, reflect and evaluate. Cant really do more.

Bearded, the long term solution will emerge during suspension. But end of June implies that wood will not be in suspension for 6/12 months as some on this board suggested in advancing FUD

Mr exec one aspect of FUD addressed. The lender issue was one of the major focal points of FUD. Now it seems the lenders have provided a few month flexibility for the wood ship to stabalize

I was speaking to a friend/colleague yesterday. He has mates in oil and gas industry, some of whom worked for Worley (recently retired, we are all over 60). Dave was saying Worley lost a lot of business in China over the last 2 decades, as chinese learned and developed home grown talent. That lead me to think Worley might be interested in expanding their business as they lose the Chinese market...just a thought.

Ice did WG not state there would be a 2025 cash flow deficit of $150m-$200m, although they suggested asset sales, equity issue or a combination of 2. What i dont understand given their turnover, is why they cant extend their credit facilities. A lot depends on lenders and faith they have in wood management.

Seems to me after trumps speech yesterday markets are in decline (see eg glen rio, bhp), but so far wood is increasing as we prepare to go into suspension. Is trend your friend?

Nmh, maybe one think we could be certain of is the way the price has been/is being manipulated. Some II's have largely, but, to date, not completely exited. Others have not exited, so i would expect they 'loyalty' will give rise to 'voice'. See exit, voice and loyalty for research in this area

Yorkshire, sorry if i came across as abrupt. But sp predictions by by are meaningless because we have so little information, and we dont know the value of WG to Sid and/or others. We dont know the position of lenders, nor the impact of historical restatement of accounts on future viability of WG. On what basis do people predict a price to the precise pence/0.5p/0.75p...crazy...
