Appreciated...I forgot about phase 2 in relation to the latest report...but....I still feel that PMO have had to take that off the table (as raised before) due probabley to debt management/ near term projection??? for now and then reassess????
The good thing with Eddison and their was that they did present a proffesional assessment to the market. Which we have now lost.
Just for info: If "anyone" who thinks the reports are not valued in the proffesional market

As I see it Eddison comments: "Please note you should no longer rely on any previous research or estimates for these companies" have been made because if the company(s) went off on a complete tangent to the previous actions the their previous reports would be invalid. I see it as a standard comment.
I do not think the termination of Eddison reporting is anything other than cost savings....they are now scrapping the piggy bank and nothing will change untill Navitas come up with the cash. I think it is the right move.*
Nothing has changed financially from the last report correct?

*Note: that and a 50% pay cut and no additional share grabbing (never happen).

It does amaze me how quiet deals/aquisitions/mergers can be kept.
Unless you have "special" friends of course (-;
Navitas must (I hope, not the "forlorn" type, fingers crossed) have been pretty good at selling their potential to raise cash to PMO's (& RKH's) BoD's and to then go through the whole rigmarole with Fig and legal.
All will be revealed, one thing is for sure the Saudi's will not be investing (-:

I am not hearing much in the way of rumour regarding Apache. Was it a few articals spining off Street Insider a month back, that have given rise to such thoughts...or is there more?
Mind you I thought Rockrose were going to buy assets and got in fact got bought out! So shows what I know (or the RRE LSE bb) but also how suprisingly quiet "news" can be kept. Theres a fit but can Apache raise such capital in such times?

Navitas are struggling ( no need to give up, they have still not signed to commit, so can string it out for ages) to get it done, although to be fair they only had around 9 month to get any cash raised before Covid sent us back to 2013.
I dont think its over, but the only thing that will confirm it is Navitas...OM is just a reprieve for RKH BoD's as we have consistantley seen Sobel and Stewart are only good at blowing cash: more Keerrrrching and no one to stop us, best job ever chaps (-:

Hi Cyan, thank for putting out some detail and conformation / clarity on where Isobels development sits.
If SL (phase 1) does get sanctioned and if it is a success THEN my guess is everybody sits down to renegotiates phase 2.
It may be that PMO have to write off that money due to the new contract deal that has been negotiated with PMO/RKH/NAVITAS phase 1?
Really difficult to understand what has been negotiated in the fine detail???
But it obvious that the cash is not avaiable for phase 2 at this time.
To get phase 1 sanctioned would be a major step and any furter developments would be subject to how phase 1 went, PoO and world OnG requirements at the time if it got sanctioned 2021 it would be 2024.5 (3.5yrs according to the info in the link you posted) for first oil. After the last 2 crashes 2013 to 2018 and 2020 to 20XX? Its probabley a realistic view??
Is there any tax benifits for PMO to write the cash off presentely?

My feeling is until every thing is financially finalised and confirmed over the BP purchases, PMO will not move much. Once that is completed will will be back to following the PoO a bit more closely.
Plus / bonus still to come: Zama sale.

Lets keep our fingers crossed: after doing well with Rockrose...all I/we can hope for is someone wanting Rockhopper....but at these prices even if its for double the current price not many of the old lags will make any money on the sale, but certainely maybe the future.

One way of keeping an eye on progress (imo) could be to monitor the Navitas share price.
A guess would be that this would start to climb against or greater than the PoO trend?

Trade gone through now.

Thinking further if the write off is due to part of the Navitas buy in....then it COULD indicate a expectation that a deal MAY be actually happening???
Muchabout being a banker does that sound feasible??
SL does seem to be getting mentioned a bit more in updates, makes me also think that TD may be getting asked by creditors about getting a return on PMOs massive investment in the project?

Decent rise on PMO all positive for LT on RKH.
PMO and UK orientated companys remain safer investment locations rather than other debt laden overseas dependent companies especially Middle East AND Africa...rather risky.

The bb (3x posters) seems to have turned on themselves rather than use their tallent to discuss this 10% rise?
The large buy/sell (UT) is odd and the trader if working on unrealeased news could be subject to an investigation???
