Quite agree, very exciting times here whatever happens with two top tier nickel projects.
In other news, we've had roughly 3 million shares go through as block sales today. Fingers crossed we are seeing the last of our friend Mr Griffiths clearing out, surely can't be far off now.
Breakeven Nickel prices contained in the feasability studies on both projects:
Araguaia - $10,766/t
Vermelho - $7,483/t
So profitable even at todays current nickel price and so much upside for increased nickel prices.
Not too sure what people were expecting from todays investor call, I thought it was very good. Professional, honest, realistic and confirmed ongoing progress reiterating previous timescales for completing financing which I believe they will deliver on. Atleast it seems to have generated some additional volume today to carry on chomping through the block sales.
I'm assuming the big sells we are seeing is RG continuing to bring his holding down to zero.
If this is the case then he can't be far away. He crossed the 3% threshold on the 2nd January leaving him with approx 40m shares. There have been block sales of roughly 1-2m shares everyday since then so fingers crossed they are all his and we might be seeing his exit completed by the end of Jan. If we get a couple of high volume days he could be out a lot sooner.
A lot of guesswork here obviously but seems to make sense with what we are seeing and I think we can start to see the SP rise once we are free of the resistance of his constant selling.
Not sure it's anything to do with the RNS to be honest, someone buying massive chunks like that will not just be in for a quick trade on the back of an RNS IMHO. I think we're just due a re-rate, getting in whilst the price is down here before the great Nickel run of 2020 ;-)
Hi all
Been taking a break from the board recently (partly as I've been off in New York last week) but also because it seems the board has turned a bit too emotional with all the arguments and ****ging matches going on. Which I guess given the current SP action is understandable (nobody likes to lose money even if it is just a paper loss). Will keep an eye out on the board for the occasional good research post and hopefully the board will return to normality with a bit of good news but until then I'll wish you all a Merry Christmas and keep my fingers crossed for a nice RNS.
Cheers
Jim
Interesting what different people want to use this board for.
I personally see it as an opportunity to discuss the company and add to my research of the company, it's competitors and the market the company operates in. The posts I value most are those which are factual and give actual insight into what people are seeing or sharing research. Mniy & MGXYZ in particular have posted some great stuff.
I personally don't come to this board for constant positive reinforcement based on old information, I think it leads to herd mentality and those posting genuine concerns are shut down. I agree there are some that come on here spouting constant negative rubbish based on nothing to create fear but I also think there are genuine investors, like myself, who just have concerns about things I am seeing and want to discuss that to see if anyone has more information about it.
That's the problem Holdlong. I know we have 11 out of the 12 boards but they are showing the same ads all the time which are the partners of Sports Interactive.
My guess would be that these are the default ads shown if nobody had bought the advertising space which is why it is a concern to me that I'm (personally!) not seeing much/anything else.
Yes, fingers crossed it is something they have sorted for FM20. There are still posts on that forum dated a few days ago however. I'm sure the numbers using any billboard patch would also be so few that it's maybe not even worth worrying about.
That's the thing for me that I really would like some clarity on. What ads are actually generating us revenue in the game and what ads are either partners of Sports Interactive or there because of some kind of licensing deal to get team and league likenesses.
I noticed on those same forums that some of the guys on there were complaining about an annoying Nicki Minaj ad in football manager 19. Now that is clearly from Bidstack and the sort of thing I was hoping to see (not Nicki Minaj in particular just totally different ads that are clearly served by Bidstack). I know someone mentioned something about some kind of adboard for a book the other day (may have been tom clancy or some other action writer) which again is clearly from Bidstack and shows that we are getting ads in the game. Again though it's just the fact that I'm not seeing these myself that gives me a slight concern about fill rates.
PS As a gooner myself I hope that you manage to do better with Arsenal than we're currently experiencing in real life!
That has been my experience too of watching things on twitch and youtube. Only ads I've seen (live myself!) that were different were ones in different leagues from sponsors related to the clubs as stated before. I know people have posted links to videos and pictures with different ads in but it just makes me wonder about the ad fill rates and whether brands are buying into it at this stage.
Been reading a couple of forums on the game and it seems some people have been adding patches in for the game to display their own custom ad boards which are specific to the team:

Hopefully this is something that Bids are looking at to prevent this from happening.
Bcfclee27 - What billboard ads are you seeing in your game. Is it just the football manager ones and the charity ones (Warchild, Special effect, Kick it Out, prostate cancer etc?)
Sorry!! Ignore me, there are ads in the touch version. Getting confused with the smaller mobile one.
Can you report my last post to take it off the chat? Cheers, Jim

Perhaps Bobby, I'm afraid any intended humour (if there was any) was lost on me.
Where are those winky face emojis when you need them?!?
Derek Wise is a NED in Bidstack he'll work a few days a year and give advice, he's not making his money from this, certainly not at this stage anyway! Even if Bidstack were to tank he'd still be buying Aston Martins as he's a vice president of a multi billion dollar company.
Think people need to know the difference between a non-exec and an actual director role.
Certainly his advice will be extremely valuable but it's the executive directors here that will make the difference
If you look at the 4th picture on that tweet from Bidstack you can see that they've got something on the screen behind with "Andrex" at the top. Maybe scrolling through some of the brand names who are now using Bids. Not heard Andrex mentioned before, part of the Kimberly Clark group with a $46bn mcap.
These seem to match the jobs that have been on the Bidstack careers website for some time now:

Notice a couple on there that say close dates in march and Jan 2019. Think they need to update the page :-/
