I'm no chartist but is a "Cup and Handle" formation emerging or is it just my wishful thinking. Btw yesterdays webinar was a non event apart from the "news" no planned drilling in Orinduik next year. Kenya is the only thing that could propel the sp but we could be in low 40's by the time that arrives.

Have you ever come across a poor broker ? Why do you think the term "stockbroker belt" came to pass? They are a clique that will always have information that the ordinary punter doesn't. Not fair but a reality. I'm sick of hearing how shorters are going to get "burned". The fact is if they were worried about losing money in Tullow they would have bought back long ago.

There has been constantly at least 2.5% shorters of Tullow (above 0.5 %)over the last 8 years. The ups and downs over the last number of weeks is insignificant. Please don't make the mistake that shorters are blindly taking risks - they are professionals working for big companies. Yes they sometimes get it wrong but probably not as many times as us PI's. Shares in Tullow are, unfortunately at the moment, more like lottery tickets. Lets hope fundamental valuation returns soon and the manipulation games stop.

Kosmos trading 8.7% up @ 3.88 despite announcing a rights issue @3.3 to partially fund the increased stake in Ghana. Tlw can barely hold on to 1% gain and they are the operators!!!

Is this the only oiler red today? Something definitely being played out with this share.

There has to be some explanation for this SP action - its very strange and the most likely answer is as you say a big sell in the background. Tlw is out of sync with most oilers over the last number of weeks.

With the full year affect of new wells currently being drilled plus new wells next year, production increase will justify a doubling of the TLW share price alone in 2022. That's without any news on Kenya/Orinduik. Of course the big assumption is no collapse in the poo over that period.

Pictet SA duplication (1.27%) corrected + Capital fund management down 0.09. Total above .5% now stands at revised 4.29%.

Interesting article in todays FT on how big institutions are under pressure from the ESG brigade to sell O & G investments and they are being hoovered up by hedge funds as a huge opportunity. Odey quoted all over it saying there's a lot of money to be made buying O & G shares??? He may need to review what his team are doing with TLW shares.

I doubt Rahul has been doing things sequentially - in other words I'm sure he has been talking to potential strategic partners whilst re-designing the plan and keeping the Kenyan government in the loop. There may already be a preferred partner selected and I would expect news before Christmas. Just my take on things..

I think many on here, me included, have shown a high degree of patience. My disappointment is not with the progress Rahul and his team has made, but the reaction of the market to what is a remarkable turnaround and a compelling strategy. I would like the SP to be north of 60p before any announcement on Kenya, in order to get the real benefit of any major news.

Shorts over 0.5% have actually gone up. Haven't seen any shorters panicking so far.

Believe me I'm LTH - how's 2.15 down to 7p back to 51p and increasing holding along the way!

Taking into account that Poo has gone from $70-$81.50 in the last number of months - sector wide but still no consolation. Looks to be continued selling of mid cap oil companies. Maybe the tide will turn soon?

Of course what you don't mention is that TLW is now profitable and able to self fund substantial annual increases in production over the next 4 years and reduce debt to below 1.5. Oil & Gas sector is not loved at the moment but there will come a time soon when investors realise there is no orderly transition to renewables and greed will out weigh green moral stances.
In the mean time, keep a close eye on developments in Kenya.
