Why sell if a share is rising sharply and has potential to rise a lot more? I understand the basis of selling when a share falls, however my feeling is that is the time to wait an either buy some more or wait again and buy when it is felt it hits rock bottom. Sometimes it can take three to five years to realize ones position. I remember Warren Buffet say if it is less than two years it is a short term investment. Wow up another 3%.My first holding now over 10% profit. My wifes £20,000 is now in profit at £2.52 and my remaining holdings are getting closer to profit. I have no intention of cashing in and would have bought yours Hash given half the chance. I do not see any reason to sell now at all. We are going to accelerate when the ban is lifted on the composites and the containers, which I understand the Port Authority wants to shift as the fire at the port last weekend to an oil tanker has made this more of a priority. I may even buy some more here, just like Blackrock and Fidelity are doing (who must be laughing their socks off with their profits), and as you say Franky we are working at even more of a discount now ABX is also moving upwards of 2% in afternoon trading.

Scheme of arrangement for consideration by the Business Court being sent out to shareholders seeking for 75% approval, these will then be considered by the court to approve the takeover of Acacia by Barrick.
If we do have anyone else tracking Acacia they will now have to come out of the woodwork, with the Gold price now back over 1500oz we look cheap, but do appear to have the Govt. of Tanz.support., and promise of an additional divi later.

Very good news and confirms that the G.O.T. approve of the Barrick takeover, however they have said they want see a feasibility study which no doubt will be one going forward that has to involve Barrick's input. I am hoping this can then lead to the composites in the containers also being released which will really provide a substantial increase for outpt which surely also the Govt. will ultimately benefit from and especially if some of the additional profits can be reinvested into the local infrastructure. This could be the start of the release of the "GOLD dust". Hope so anyway.

Also noticed Gold converted back into GBP is now up over 32% on the year. -Happy days.

Hi Elp, Yes great, and I have feeling this run will continue for a while yet. Ideal World Political climate conditions for Gold and for us what with sterling falling in addition it is increasing our earnings even more.

Hi Franky - Yes I agree hy biggest holding is in Acacia ( although as I said the other week when told by Stock ABC I was an idiot, ha.ha) I am also in "CEY" Centamin, HOC -Hochschild, and even my Stobart nad Marstons have been doing well lately. The only shares I have that are below par are the Banks, and Oils, but they will come back eventually. I am really enjoying this run, and long may it continue, beats commuting up to the smoke to make a living!!

As you have said chaps we are in a very good position when the Silver price has for once been rising far higher in relative terms with Gold recently. As Hoc are the Worlds largest Silver miner we stand to start benefiting and as for each unit of Silver and Gold for that matter increases the unit costs per unit in percentage terms will reduce. Costs will naturally reduce.
I see on 21-3-2011 we were at £5.81 (per share) but Silver was in fact 48.58 an oz. (So we have a lot of headroom to go yet).

I see market indicators are helping us here and I am not sure why we are not accelerating our rise? i.e. With sterling falling our earnings from Gold will increase our earnings when converted back.
Also the Gold price is advancing again today as everyone turns back to review the world trade wars. What we need soon are increased production figures from Acacia, to go with the increased earnings.

Istell see us still as a strong buy as the Uk economy shrinks, sterling falls, and our earnings from Gold when exchanged back will increase-happy days for Gold miners. Notwithstanding all the other updates from others who also feel we have contributory factors helping us with the World and its trade wars.

I hope it holds or rises overnight, and we can then recover today's slight drift lower.

The big fund managers came in then and have since disappeared, so why not come back in and the share price will really benefit in growth.
I feel we can rise quite significantly from here in today's market.
Perhaps even the M&G will return here, who did very well for a long period of time.

I bought £10,000 of share in CEY at £1.62 and they then fell on the fact they had hit a poor vein of rock and the Gold quality and quantities fell, the share price did too. However since then I must admit to have bought some more and sold once or twice as the share recovers. I have however kept my £10,000 worth bought at £1.62 because I see us now through the poor rock and straight back into good grade and so I see many reasons for this share price to rise. To be honest when I last read up on the progress with CEY I did not even see mention of a court case and so it is very low profile. Unlike what happened with Acacia.
