Hi Reps -Only being honest to be fair. I like most will steer around the issues and look forward to opportunities. as they come along. I am sure the Queen will not miss her Chateau Lafite 59, and can stick to her Range Rover as the parts to fix the non starting Bentley (or Audi A8 in drag) might become more expensive to fix. I do feel Mr Corbin, Ledsun, and the Scots could have at least the sake of the Uk come forward with support where it was due and to have given help and suggestion to where required. To be honest chaps I think it as a dig against me for being too bullish on Acacia as there are the small timers out there who hope the share price goes down -so they can enter at a lower level, and they show up a mile away. I just ignore them for what they are worth.

I buy Gold and Silver miners in periods of uncertainty but wish I had sold all of my bank shares a year ago. Luckily until interest rates start coming back up with houses prices falling I will stay in the precious metal miners. I will try and navigate around the issues but at the moment would like to thank Boris for at least bringing the whole Brexit situation to a conclusion helping my Mining shares. All Corbin and ors have been doing is to cause disruption, they could have voted for a deal or even agreed to talk and collectively come up with suggestions previously for the sake of the country. Why now. At one time he would not even join the cross party discussions.now he is holding them. As usual his advisers have not thought this through. Boris has however which I respect. I found most people I talk to voted to get out of Europe and whether it was a deal or no deal did not even enter the thought process. Most got fed up of giving more than our fair share. We with Germany were the main givers, but as they are now finding out there are many more takers. If you look at the German economy they are now getting into trouble and recession. So where will the extra funding lost for the Uk come from? I see in ten years the EEC falling apart (what a waste of money ). Let each Country manage run their own economy is my opinion - why do you need euro mps, and all that red tape. All each Country needs are Gold reserves to start balancing their economies. This will help our shares further into the future.

Mr T. I disagree on that one. The backstop is the only problem. With it we are tied to the union and cannot make any deals of our own with the world (which is what I voted for). I feel with no deal new opportunities will come and I remember the Euro dictatorship when our village lost our Dairy herd as we could not have a dairy and a herd supplying the same milk. Perhaps we can now control our own destiny and not have it dictated to by Europe. In fact they are the dictators not Boris.

Hi Dimi - Yes great to hear from you, I mentioned you in dispatches today on the ACA board. I feel we could do very well here, even my old man rang me up and said should he come in to the precious metal miners. So the word must be out there we are a buy. To be honest I never used to like Boris but I do now respect him a lot. He has more balls than all of the others put together. Corbin was going around the back and the Scots and others all have their own motives, We need to get this now sorted and Boris is the only one now capable, a very clever tactical move if you ask me, even the Queen approves. Not bad is it if you have to go to the Boss and she is the Queen.

The odds of a Brexit deal are now far less and Boris is likely to get his way now. The deal that was offered by the Eu failed on three counts. Sterling will fall further most project it will be on a par with the dollar soon. This will help our earnings hear tremendously. Sterling will not be going far before inflation cuts in and the value of the pound in real terms will fall and the biggest bolster against inflation of any currency is GOLD which will rise significantly.
I only see the writers in this board who are negative trying to force down the price to buy back in at a lower entry level. Well they are against the tide on this one I am afraid as the comments simply do not add up on pure economics and trade.

We are now past the £1.60 odd level chaps - and no you should not have sold, Franky, VV and I are holding on to our Golden Chariot- you can always come back in here there are plenty of nuggets around, and I am not talking about those found with metal detectors on the Kent/Sussex coast. -Good luck and ATB -Thanks Boris for the master class.

Yes my Godfather used to be the Marstons Company secretary and so I always have a soft spot for them. To be honest he was a great man and even left me some money when he died. I did sell my Marstons in two lots over the past couple of weeks, but will go back in again later if they fall in a crash. Agree with your feeling on Barrick and what with sterling falls they will earn us a lot more money that we had calculated.

I bought some of these shares for my wife when Brexit happened what 3 years ago for about £2.68 and I feel she will be in profit soon. I have bought some of my own at levels far below this and intend to hold on for the journey up again as the Brexit crisis returns.

As CEY is a FTSE Company all of the Company profits from Dollars including dollar earnings are converted into sterling. The fall in sterling is good news to a Dollar earning share when it is converted back to our home currency.
I see the point made on the ban (if it applies) to any export of Gold from China ALSO as a very good thing for CEY. As this is taken out of the market THE commodity price will rise. However we must bear in mind China are also the biggest buyers of Gold and they have been building up their supplies of this as well as most other raw materials. It was said recently China control the cost and manufacture now of 75% of all the Worlds raw material production. They are very clever and our American friends should be very afraid of them when concerned with Raw materials and indeed precious metals.

Still a few weeks to go until the Takeover from Barrick - so I see us moving up from here, taking the promised divi from Barrick and then the G.O.T. releasing the composites, and can also see we will benefit from the many World deals Mr Bristow is carrying out as we speak. As sterling falls, (it is hardly going to rise with all the politics now involved with Boris) we will get additional gains based on currency inflows from a Dollar share and so Barrick will be a very clever share for us to hold.

I still see this as a strong buy. With Gold rising and sterling falling fast we are now up 35.43% in GBP for the year. This will have a tremendous effect on our Companies earnings potential.
There is no need in my opinion to look at any side show. The facts speak for themselves. I am also looking forward to our divi as we go ex-divi tomorrow.

Silver in GBP is now up 30% for the year, and even rated in USD is up over 22%, shows this is a Company worth considering when sterling is falling and we have political uncertainty. I have now invested another large amount here in complete confidence that this is a safer share to hold than many others. Best of luck to one and all.

I see this share now as even more of a good investment with the pound falling and the gold price rising. A double whammy for gains. Good luck to one and all who are getting out of their Uk domestic earners and coming in to a dollar earning share. I have just topped up with some more shares here I see us going well for some time yet as all the politics and arguing unfolds.

Good for Boris, bad for the pound = uncertainty and Dollar earning Companies such as Acacia to be Barrick earning more for us when converting back into sterling. I now see this as both a short and longer term investment, Fill yer boots!!
I have taken the profits I made on my other shares to invest in here, and bolster my stocks also in CEY and Hoch as well. I am already in Beazley my other Dollar earning share and Barclays should be ok. I would suggest avoid UK Domestic earners however until the UK Rates start going up after Brexit. I'm in this share for a few thousand and might come in for some more as we grow. A great entry level here in my mind a great opportunity for a company that has put boardroom problems (I hope) behind it. No doubt can also help the small minority interest it has in the haulage firm too with some guidance and financial support.

Things could get even better for us when trading starts after the bank holiday if the price can hold out or even rise further up towards Usd1600 oz!!!!
