As someone on Twitter has pointed out, the timing of that 'we beleive' tweet from the company yesterday seemed to support the sudden drop in trades and felt like they were trying to whip up some buying pressure to support the forward selling effort..Hasn't been the sustained buying frenzy , so it's taking longer to announce the placing.

Suspect today but certainly this week.

Bookies currently have it around £1.5m at 0.045 to 0.05. it won't seem much of a discount but the time the SP has dropped further today but he amount of shares about to be issued will keep this churning the rest of the year . Agony if you were in above 0.07

This will place at a 65% discount and take months to churn. By then the mystery suitor will be forgotten about and license lost. There is a reason they put that guff about mining licenses at the end of the RNS. It all nonsense.

The company has a $250k loan to pay back by end of September. They will be conveniently raising off the back of any spike today at a hell of a discount too

Also, as a major, just wait until the license has lapsed then pick it up cheap rather than go into a percentage agreement with a broke company.

Suggest that once £1.5m.raise has happened this 'interest' will conveniently evaporate.

You'll notice that the liquidity starts to dry up and you get mad swings due to the over-ask and then dump .

They always accept small losses as that's just the nature of the game, they make it up on the good times

The brokers/MM are always the last to get out as they need the liquidity to create the market.

They are all but out now according to Bloomberg. I'd suggest an announcement is likely to be made this week regarding the future of the company.

The MMs are desperately trying to hold this at nominal, which usual means they are trying to offload their original brokers holding.

A few other distressed stocks are going through the same process.

One quick look at their 2023-2026 strategy , easily found online, indicates no appetite for this type of risk.

I just hope that along with the results that they are planning an investor presentation to illuminate investors and eradicate 85% or the interpretation and conjecture.

I find in breathtaking that they, as a start-up team, can go for so long without reporting signicant progress. Even the last RNS was basically a corporate action. How about an update surrounded their technology offering, trials and rollout. Plans to promote GS20 etc

This model of buying what are essentially shell companies within target domains and then starting out on long winded regularly applications that can take months, wherein the investor is rarely updated and previous developments are seemingly and worryingly forgotten about is grinding the SP into the ground. All the whole we now have nearly 2bn shares in circulation and a permanent mystery seller.

All the fanboys can flame those asking simple questions all they want but in the end the SP tells the story. Where are the TR-1s, why, if this is going to be a big deal don't we have another payment service or any house taking a position?

If the result are merely Meh! smeared with a generous dollop of Jam Tomorrow then this company truly has missed the investor boat and frankly would be better de-listing and listing in Singapore or CAC or somewhere.

As a few of the level headed posters have pointed out, this stock started out making all the right noises but a few of us can hear an all to familiar whirring and clanking sound.

None of the BoD have any experience in market coms for microcaps. Lord Whatsisname worked in big department in big corps. But they've taken him on purely for UK Market / FCA compliance reasons and probably makes a phone call once a quarter regarding the company.

Unfortunately, as I said previously, this is shaping up like a number of other Main Market companies who, although listed here, are domiciled abroad, the BoD hugely detached from servicing the needs of the investor, until of course, they need a placing.

I would like to know who set Bonfire up and who set Glindata up and some of the other acquisitions. I would not be surprised if you find some commonality. Considering one of the companies had Jack Bai's Mrs on the BoD then I can only guess. Just think it's so strange that the FCA has gone quiet.

So many foreign owned Main Market companies fall into the same trap; poor comms, huge gaps between ambiguous RNSs, opaque shareholdings (directors and foreign investors seem to get a free pass). MM companies don't require a NOMAD, so can write any amount of vague piffle on an RNS leaving investors to argue for months.

As for GST, whatever happened to all the marketing that was promised. Nothing. Why are they still registered in Australia as far away as possible from their investor block?

The GST Corporate website is horrid and amateurish.

With everything that is outstanding from the company, it simply doesn't feel like a serious and professional outfit that want to become a major player in the Netbanking space. Go check out their competitors, see how well formed and smart they look.

Brew - Precisely. Bonfire couldn't have cost anymore than £50k at best. It's empty with no licenses.

I think we may see something perhaps for Australia or even South America. It would help them to get maybe something in Bermuda for tax reasons. Either way they need to start pumping not only news out but news that appears to at least potentially increase revenue in the short-mid term to counteract some of the London dated stuff

Pat - Both parts of the RNS today ;

First, Bonfire is a completely unknown vessel of a Spanish company, being formed last year. There is no acquisition until , yet again, certain conditions are met. Also, no price attributed to it.

Second part, was basically a delay announcement , which always goes down like a cup of cold sick in the micro caps.

In short, a big nothing burger of an RNS which seems to have omitted more than it stated.

Were they to put more information in their RNSs and / or have a yearly investor presentation it would cut out 95% of the noise on this stock.

I don't mind a little bickering but it's the insult ls and the constant call outs which really drag this board down.
