You have to ask yourself that could the lack of auditor be a ploy for ALGW to deliberately lose their UK Listing ? It's a US company, their markets have been considerably better than the UK's for some considerable time. Going no longer needs the UK listing . So this could be a very convenient way of delisting the stock and walking away unscathed.

Normally they provide a reason when there is an immediate change.

The fact that Tim has barely said anything in 2024 kind of says it all. November came an went and now we are on mid-Dec.

Companies are winding up for the closed period and investors and brokers are balancing the books up for year end.

Lanstead won't risk more if there hasn't been any progress. 2025 is going to be a tough year across the board and they won't want tie-ins with socks draw companies.

They shouldn't be allowed to announce an acquisition without stating what they paid. This provides no guide to investors or the market in terms of value. Also, haven't declared any ongoing interest in the company regarding the CAKE BoD.

They did this with Bonfire and other acquisitions. They need to be more transparent and allow the market a chance to value the company.

It's pretty clear from the frantic dumping of stock at such a low price that Lanstead are privy to information folks here are not.

If the information was positive or like to drop soon then they would not be exiting this stock as rapidly as they are. It would not make commercial sense.

The company needs to wake up but by the merest fact they are incommunicado indicates they are sat on bad/negative news. Not sure I'd be rushing in to average down here.

The question is, why are they in a rush to get out this low?

Hardly surprising this stock is slowly slipped down again.

Tim seems ill equipped to manage the situation.

The fact he isn't just updating the market (for the sake of a £250 RNS speaks volumes about what could be potentially be happening or not happening in the background.

No process takes this long, financial or otherwise. As with all AIM and Main Market stocks, silence and delay rarely has a happy ending.

So it's pretty clear that any discussions with alternative finance facilities have failed and the likelihood of Zim 'Historic Package' coming in anytime soon if at all , is distant at best.

As you say, perfunctionary. What happens next , next year, is the representatives of the Creditors (!) and workers council make their case. From there a period of deliberation which could take ages.

Not even then. All that will happen at the next hearing in April 2025 is that the creditors and workers council will put their side of the case forward. It will be months after before the judge comes to a conclusion. Many many lights-on raises later
