Analyzer - We all know the game. The solvency statements can often only apply to the reporting period which can be 12 months prior. CFO/CEOs know this. The financial picture could change radically and hence the reason we can still get shock delistings etc

This is what I hate about microcaps, they are treated like grown-up companies when they should be forced to publish a light financial status report on a quartely basis; Simple Cash Balance, Debt, Income etc . Due to the highly speculative and changeable nature of micro-caps.

A solvency review board could opine on companies that have been the subject of high levels of concern and speculation.

That should have been the title of the RNS.

If this doesn't set alarm bells ringing then I don't know what will wake people up.

Auditor walks out with some guarded but barbed comments and the company would rather delist than face any futher scrutiny.

The FCA should have a solvency review board that can request companies attend and prove they are a solvent going concern.

It would stop so much of this chicanery and restore some trust in the microcap market.

You barely see anyone actually discuss the business model anymore. That's because it was always unworkable

The only focus now seems to be watching AZ move artificial funds from one entity to the next in a bid to look solvent and keep the listing.

This is no longer an investible business , just an opaque accounting excercise with questionable motivations.

This indicates that they have been provided privilaged inside information. Meaning they have been bought 'inside'.

What the TR-1 holder are too stupid to realise, is that once a company is delisted, priviliged insider status is meaningless. Private companies are nor subject to the same market rules. Anything that was agreed whilst listed can be completely reneged upon, leaving you with legal costs and potential liabilities.

As usual , a bewilderingly confusing smashed cake of an RNS, seems to indicate that an newly enriched AZ is lending SYME money it hasn't a hope in hades to be able to pay back with next to no income.

Meaning : More confetti to pay back AZ.

They have become a vanilla Category C asset offshore management company . Nice lunch money but frankly is not a receipe for explosive growth, especially when we are on the verge of a stock market collapse, when revenues will dip due to the operational overhead.

It's not about them struggling, it's about proberty and the fact that Gobind is nonlonger interested having a listing on an index where they (and many others) are struggling to raise placings.

They have a US Listing , they are a US company. They don't need the UK listing anymore , if they did then they would have looked for an auditor.

Delisting with this excuse means they dont ha e go answer to Shareholder Action Groups.

You'd be an idiot to hold shares . These will be cancelled very quickly and this company cojld be suspended this week.

It's utter nonsense to compare ALGW with CMO.

Two totally different scenarios.

If you know ALGW then you'll know they are very unlikely to return or orchestrate good news for a bounce.
