Costamooney are you sure on this 'missing' 400 million shares ?

Of the categories of shares given on page 31 of the prospectus which made up the re-listing share capital which category do these shares appear in (it seems that existing + debt swap + broker = around 400 million; did you count these ?) ?

I think there are a great many shareholders who share your level of frustration with the share price at the moment Doddy-body. The board own a very large number of shares so they will certainly be in that number and be doing all they can to improve the company’s lot and it’s share price.

I don’t think many people expected immediate success here and taking say a 12-18 month initial view I think the company do appear to have got a lot of the foundations in place necessary to build future success.

The management team is bigger, the plant is improved and improving, ore/feedstock production is up, exploration (on proven ground) is under way and the first acquisitions have been made.

There is a good pipeline of news to come so I think there are legitimate reasons to be positive despite the poor share price performance.

According to the London Stock Exchange 6 month chart, since 26 February when the price went to 1p well over 700,000,000 shares have changed hands. That seems a lot.

Good volume; lets see if any biggies pop up later on.

Could today’s dip be, at least in part, linked to the end of the tax year ?

It can sometimes be advantageous to crystallise losses into tax periods. Fortunately, I never have a lack of crystallised loses so don’t find myself in that sort of position. That’s forward thinking.

I think Goldplat should still own their original 104 million ish ‘consideration shares’ as they were expressed to be locked it in the prospectus for a year.

But then I thought the additional shares taken instead of a further cash element of their consideration, and which they recently sold, we’re also locked it.

Fair volume still ticking through but no price change.

People not wanting to get left out vs someone keen to get out.

I am sure that was the official information but at least initially I think there was some evidence that both rigs were at the hill eg:

Any change of approach has not been officially communicated so far as I am aware but I suppose owning the rigs gives a certain level of freedom which can only be a good thing.

It should have a very beneficial effect for a number of reasons. It might even help get our missing licence area back !

I wonder if anyone can assist with a question on productions volumes here.

Lets say 100 ton of coal is dug out of the ground. It will be stockpiled until the washplant is up and running. That 100 ton will then be put through the wash plant and (hopefully) sold. What volume of washed coal is that 100 ton expected to yield? The company is also progressing the installation of coke oven(s). Once they ovens are ready the washed coal will no longer be sold but will be turned into coke. What volume of final coke is the original 100 ton of coal expected to yield ?

Looking like another quiet day for Gcat although with all the delayed reporting we've seen anything could be going on. I suppose we just have to wait for some more good news to increase buying to see how our seller(s) are getting on.

The Nairobi listing has been mentioned since the re-listing so I can’t see how it was intended to aid a particular purchase unless that purchase has also been a target since re-listing. That’s not to say it can’t be helpful.

I thought the listing was to help meet the new mining rules regarding local ownership which could apply to future mining licences in the country and also perhaps help gain political support.
