If the very large trade was from one holder or close group then there really are surely only a very limited number of suspects (if we assume our two large German holders are still in and the lock-in is operating):-

- Longley (inc. connected companies)
- Tatnall (inc. connected companies)
- Sylvia Schmidt (I am not sure how she fits in)
- Novum
- Directors combined selling some performance shares/warrants
- Something fishy

When the first monster trade appeared it seemed very good news and might indicate an end to recent mass selling but the second seems to cloud the situation.

People now selling at a loss to get cash for perceived quicker returns elsewhere possibly. Impatient fools !

The share price at the moment certainly doesn’t appear to have any link to the increasing gold price but I suppose that shouldn’t be too surprising as it doesn’t seem to have any direct link to the actual company either!

The price seems almost entirely driven at the moment by external financial factors such as certain shareholders desire to release funds.

The only thing I might question would be the strength of the current Kilimapesa LOM as I am not sure it is really fair to say we have 670koz there due to much of it being inferred or on the prospecting licence (or even outside of that licence in the disputed area). However, with the soon to be released initial drill results I am sure that will increase to a far greater number and also a far more robust number as you have stated.

Yes, thank you it's you. I had considered the words 'any Ordinary Shares which it holds' to include any ordinary shared which it holds.

Jason tweeted the following on 11 February when the shareholder register info was released:-

' As per the August 2021 Prospectus almost 430M shares of @CaracalGoldplc total shares on issue are locked up - so over 25%.

This includes @Mayflower_Funds nominees from the RTO, Goldplat and management.

So a significant percentage.'

From the prospectus (section 28 page 133):-

'[Goldplat] have agreed that it shall not, offer, sell, contract to sell, pledge or otherwise dispose of any Ordinary Shares which it holds directly or indirectly in the Company, (a) for a period of 12 months commencing on the date of Admission and (b), thereafter, for an additional period of 12 months without the prior written consent of the Company’s corporate adviser'

There are a very few exemptions listed but unless Orca is an associate of Goldplat I am not clear how this has been allowed. Could the fact we share a common director be relevant ?

How can a party listed as locked in sell shares ?

Hi Keith or anyone else,, I’m a bit confused. They’ve found the rock type as expected, and it is highly magnetic, as expected, but it is not the target ?

‘ A coarse-grained dolerite/gabbro was intercepted from 514.94m to 590.58m. Very coarse grained, thin, highly magnetic zones/patches were observed in the unit.

Visual inspection of the drill core and readings taken with a Magnetic Susceptibility and Conductivity meter (a KT-10 S/C unit), provide no indication that the B1 Conductor has been intercepted.‘

The Align research valuation is entirely based on a simple comparison with Shanta I think which seemed a bit sloppy to me but I suppose they are operating very nearby.
