Another thread sullied by name calling.... You know you have won when people start that behaviour. :-) I never supported Chris Graham's appointment and/or removal i was pretty relaxed about the whole affair. Nothing compared to the calamitious financial mis-management of the previous regime.
The glib and shameless one appears to be you SoF - No EGM, no apology. - All the institutions will vote for the current regime, no apology. - King would lose the NOMAD, he left before King arrived, no apology. - No RNS needed, no apology. You are beginning to score highly on the glib and shameless index yourself. And still you have an obsession with Mr King. Where is Mensch and his lemons?
No one on here thinks King is messiah. He is jJust a requisitioner who ousted the old board. For that he deserves plaudits. Apart from that, I could care less if he never turns up at Ibrox again. The new board (which at the moment does not include King) have a difficult job on their hands to steady the ship. It does look like Llambias and Leach engaged in fiscal vandalism before they left, however, only time will tell.
Streete done zip, apart from hobble off. No doubt McCulloch is over paid. Murray never wanted the extra £5m, in the same way the old board never actually wanted the £6.5m from TPL. It was just a ploy to show the market had been explored. Somers lied many times IMHO, for example when he said Llambias was not a Mike Ashley representative, that statement is at best being economical with the truth. Your obsessed by King. A man who isn’t even on the board.
They have individual contracts of employment. There for I am not the 'job lot ' approach holds water. Plus, it could be argued, the loan to Rangers was a conflict of interests between the owner of Newcastle and his effective control through debt of Rangers and not done in the long term interests of the Rangers. Thus there may be scope to cease to exercise the non performing contracts until a disciplinary investigation is undertaken and sanctions/legal action is completed.
Agreed, its completely nonsensical. :-) Disciplinary action should be taken against those responsible. Perhaps even sued for losses and damages.
for FF, DYOR = read some bloggers, believe everything they say I wont ask him to manage my portfolio ....
blogger love in.....
doesn't
Your banging your head off a brick wall CB, footy does actually understand how share purchasing and share issues work. I agree wait and water down their holding in fresh equity. Only buy existing holdings if you have to, a gift is silly if you can get equity.
No idea and don't care, although it was widely reported in the newspapers (although they are hardly reliable)
3rd party payment depends how he paid for them. He might just have given the money to Celtic plc. Both were coming from the EPL, and as internationals, not on small wages. Anyway nothing to do with this stock. Ready to go, depends on your interpretation and glib Mr King knows it ;-)
I heard about the SFA wrote a report. Mr Johnston said he was never contacted by the author. Regardless, its all history now. 3- lets agree to disagree. So ‘ready to go’, you thought would mean start from day 1? Not sure what footyfan said but I understand Dermott paid the difference between Bellamy’s and Keane’s salary and what Celtic could afford?. So I am not sure ‘not a penny’ is entirely accurate.
Haha, I certainly don’t support King, I said he was dealing in the only currency of note, change. That’s about as much ‘defence’ as I have provided him. In terms of the specific points 1 – No board meeting ever took place while Whyte was in charge, except to dismiss the other members. I assume King was busy in court in South Africa. Although Alistair Johnston states Mr King raised a number of issues internally regarding the running of the club. I cannot verify this either way. 2 – not sure what point your making. 3 – We all knew and discussed it, because he has chosen that route doesn’t mean other routes were not open to him. It depends on his risk appetite. I suggested legal advice may suffice. He has chosen court of session. Fair enough 4 – I think it’s too early to judge about a NOMAD. I would give him the 30 days. I could care less if Mr King sits on the board also, however, I am glad the previous board were removed, they were clearly incompetent, IMHO. He was simply an agent for change as far as I am concerned. Agreed on Paul Murray he would not be my choice. He does not run the organisation, he temporarily runs the board. The CEO runs the organisation. I was open to Leach and Llambias staying on as Mr Ashley’s reps, however they ‘chose’ not to be his reps and the made a series of gaffs and decisions which I think were not in the long terms interests of the company so I (reluctantly thought they should leave). Mr Ashley has not suggested any replacements to date. Anyway I think the stock is better off today than it was last month. I am no fan of Mr King, although I thought he spoke very well upon arrival in the UK. However the true judgement of any person or board is by their actions. I reserve judgement on them all.
Still obsessed with Mr King?... deary me... Can we change the record?
Perhaps 110% return Cambridge ... haha
He should have apologised when he said there would be no EGM, he didn’t Or when he said all the institutions would vote for the current board, eeerrr no he didn’t Or when he said no RNS was needed, nope no apology. SoF increasingly looks a bit glib and shameless, IMHO
Looks like the EBT's case is costing everyone a fortune. Good old HMRC. Also interesting to see the current pot is worth more than that owed to Lloyds by Rangers Fc Plc at the time the company was sold to Mr Whyte. I appreceiate the circumstances and compostion are different.
haha so it was a spelling mistake not the limited vocabulary SoF has. My second language is Russian. Pravda gavoreet. Is common sense still aspirational for you?
I find it hard to envisage a more inept interim chairman than Potless Paul. Mr Somers?
