£650,000 to get shot of the old board who burned £70m looks like a bargain to me....
Easdale is now threatening to take legal action against Dave King personally, for not delivering a new NOMAD. Given Easdale was on the board that orchestrated the previous NOMAD's departure without, it appears, facilitating any handover from WH Ireland to Cantor Fitzgerald...... made me laugh, King isn't even a board member yet. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/32171135 Good luck Sandy, looks like you have blown your dough .....
Look like the tactic to cause as much mayhem before they left has back fired and played into Kings hands. Although I have to say I don't think is the best move for the stock. It should re-list on ISDX if it can. Sandy trying to sue any board of RIFC is a joke. The court case would be a mud slinging match of the highest order.
Couldn't agree more Billy and Am, can't wait for it to close. I'll still be here checking my shares, the trolls will drift away.
Happy Lemons Mensch, thanks for all your bitterness , don’t let the door hit your backside on the way out. ee dee na hoi
haha grammar
their ..... for the gammar queens....
No I think the orchestrated move by Llambias and Leach to have the NOMAD resign under there watch, looks like it played into King’s hands, as he always preferred to delist.
I think Mike Ashley’s plans backfired, as he now owns 9% of an unlisted company, or maybe that’s what he wanted?
JB under company law they do.
Haha footyfan you are obsessed. Open up as many stuzeeuk accounts as you like. Maybe you can start a twitter account also? … haha…. Or maybe you already done that ! ;-)
The company are now seeking to trade on the ISDX and not the AIM market.
Eddie, nice attempt to white wash your error. Yes it is my opinion that WH Ireland should have managed a transition to a new NOMAD. I am quite content with that opinion and content if your disagree. However I am factually correct in a the statement I made. You clearly were not, therefore your original assertion seems to have hit the buffers. SoF, on the upside - Mr King said he would remove the previous board of directors, he did. If that’s all he ever does, then I'm content the previous regime was removed.
@CB SoF's like most of the anti-brigade, is blinkered by his biased views, which removes any hope of a reasonable analysis. Hence he will contradict himself to support his biased view. It makes most of his posts look like he is half witted.
The NOMAD fiasco was clearly orchestrated by the old board. The old board should have conducted on medicals for the 5 loanees. Signing one fit player out of 5 is a poor record by anyone’s standing. The company are now left to pay for the 4 walking wounded. Streete done nothing apart from hobble off, trying to suggest anything other is simply stupid SoF. Vuckic has done well and appears to have been able to rise above the abject calamity of the other 4. Lee Wallace has been reinvigorated since McCall’s appointment, and is by far the best player at the club. He was very accomplished again on Saturday. Young Walsh looks like a bright talent also. The 500,000 is a joke, IMHO, and part of the scorched earth policy by old regime.
My understanding is that he would cease to use the services of WH Ireland I assume this was more directed at Mr Shackleton specifically) and appoint a new NOMAD. He could not have had an orderly handover on the day of the AGM as the NOMAD had already resigned. I am not sure what part of that you don’t understand. It appears you blame Mr King (who isn’t even on the board), while I blame the old board for losing the NOMAD, and will blame the new board if they cannot source a new one.
@ Eddie. I didn’t know the result and we had SoF on here claiming the old regime would sweep up all the votes from institutional votes and remain in situ. The facts, show WH Ireland resigned days prior to the EGM. Now even you admit that. So you were wrong with your ‘facts’. IMHO WH Ireland could and should have managed a transition to a new company. They did not. I have no doubt that was orchestrated by the old regime. That is why I raise it, and that is why I consider it a failure of the old board. If you disagree then feel free to do so, however the facts are on my side, as you now admit. If the new board fail to procure the services of a new NOMAD I will consider it a failing of theirs also. As things stand, we are waiting on a formal announcement.
‘the facts (as reported), is WH Ireland told King & Co they would resign if they got into power. That is exactly what they did.’ Not true. They resigned prior to the EGM. Just a fact.
L&L were exactly the reason there was no handover process between NOMAD’s, the wounded 4 contacts and the £500,000 payment to Newcastle also appears to have been orchestrated. If you can’t see that Eddie you should remove your specs. I am sure there will be more we are unaware of, or has still to come to light. I have never seen such a childish transition of power in a UK corporate entity in all my life.
Somers and the Easdales were always a disaster. I had hoped Lambias and Leach would have cut costs and started the trurn around process, however - losing the NOMAD - Selling Rangers best player - borrowing against the assets - Alienating the customers - Signing the Newcastle wounded 4 - Agreeing to pay 0.5m to Newcastle for promotion it appears like the simply engaged in passing the income streams to their paymaster Mr Ashley and a form of fiscal vandalism. I reserve judgement on the current board, however, the last lot I agree, were an unmitigated disaster.
