What tripe, there was no suspicion of Mr Green lining his pockets through Garrion, last I checked they had a turnover of £300,000 (off the top of my head, correct me if I am wrong). The previous board also held positions on the company subsidiaries. It may be a privately held company, privately held by TRFCL and subsidiary of RIFC. If Mr Murray wanted to get rich quick from Rangers FC he would have tried it before now. A bit like Mr Whyte, Ashley, Green and other faceless investors (allegedly). As a former director of NUFC and his paymaster being Mr Ashley the transaction is a potential conflict of interest for Mr Llambias. It potentially looks like to be a serious breach of his position. The lads never had a medical, which if they were fit, would not necessarily be an issue. Two were injured to the point where they never even travelled up to Glasgow one has Hepatitis which depending on the strain is communicable. Plus if incurable he may not be able to play again. The whole issue stinks of a material conflict of interest, weak checks and balances and poor governance. The fact the board didn’t even have a proper manager in place makes you wonder who sanctioned the deal. I am truly shocked.
