Yes I do Salted, the game is in dire straits... If you could see the empty seats at Celtic Park, Ibrox and falling UEFA coefficient you would agree. Mr Doncaster is increasingly overseeing a massive downsizing of the game. While the EPL expand year after year, circa £90m for relegation from the EPL v £2m for winning the Scottish Premiership. How long before the also ran countries stop even bother with UEFA competitions, we are like lambs to the slaughter in the Champions League.

Last I seen 66% of fans expected Rangers to remain in the championship and many would prefer it, until the club has sorted out its structural, financial and technical issues. Some would prefer a controlled insolvency event (myself included), and some would not, while other think liquidation of the current company is needed and club transfer to another newco. I think too many people are underestimating the premier sides, and over rating the championship sides. Celtic put Hearts and Rangers down without a whimper. The old board said the money ran out in the 3rd week of March. The same board who were continually correcting themselves. I think the current board are correct in not doing that as far as possible, especially as they don't know what contracts etc the previous incumbents entered into. Nor do we know if proper records were kept, especially given the shredders arrived at Ibrox just over a week before the EGM. All I am saying is I would not be making any rash statements without being sure, and that will take time. Questions regarding the financial state of the club, and future plans are fine, however the current board need to know exactly where they are before they can commit to something like that. You have waited 3 years to ask the same questions Eddie, why all of a sudden are you in a panic?, when the money runs out, you stop paying people, no one dies, no one gets hurt. Just some people need to be paid. Let’s not panic.

I think the board are right to quietly go about their business. I wouldn’t be rushing into any announcements until you know what exactly what is in the pot. I think it should rightly be 60 days or so before that happens. We may need to hear something before then, simply because the previous board lost the NOMAD and were running the car on empty. I certainly wouldn’t be panicking yet. Unlike the anti-brigade who seem to want a series of ridiculous announcements of no real consequence. Assuming the short term issues are overcome even if the board don't do well, the shareholders simply vote in a new board.

SoF the requisitioners have only been in control for less than two weeks. 'The mob' was in control for 3 years and lead us to this position. The only one panicking is you. Calm down, and relax. The previous board allegedly went cap in hand to TLP, but decided to sell off the revenue streams to Ashley instead.
